Dr. Wood was my dentist and she lacked patience and she didn$0027t even consider my anxiety with dentists nor did she factor in my anxiety overall and I made it my business to explain this. I was willing to pay extra for gas or anything to help my anxiety. I had a crown and multiple fillings. I was rushed and anytime I felt discomfort during the procedure, Dr. Wood acted like she didn$0027t care. She just continued to saw and drill and expressed irritability when I asked for more injections. I had to follow up and return for more fillings but I$0027m absolutely petrified. I don$0027t think she works there any longer… Kudos to Park. But the downside is that fear of dentist is a real thing and when the DDS completely disregards that and reinforces the fear…. It$0027s all bad. I$0027ve been paying for dental insurance and am afraid to use it. I hope the hygienist has all the success and the techs are amazing and the front desk staff are phenomenal. Dr. Riester is fantastic. I just started going to Park Dental a couple of months ago and have had nothing but fantastic experiences. Getting a filling obviously isn$0027t a pleasant experience, but Dr. Riester makes it as quick and bearable as possible. Also, when I had some pretty extreme sensitivity and tooth pain after Boost whitening treatment, she was so helpful and even gave me some novacaine shots to help alleviate the pain before I went back to work. I have been going to this location for 5 years and if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice 3 times they start charging you $70 each time. I understand the reason behind that but they never fall off so even if its bad weather or an emergency you are basically screwed at some point. I was forced to find another dentist just incase something happens in the future, I am NOT paying $70! They should eventually fall off after so long. Also, you are supposed to get a full mouth xray every 5 years. I haven$0027t had one in 8 years and they never caught that. Now I have to scramble to get one so I can make an appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed. I am just all around frustrated with my experience. I do have to say that most everyone who works at this location is very very nice.
