Highly recommend this dental office. I had Raneasha clean my teeth today. She is funny and I think expressed an appropriate amount of concern regarding the puffiness of my gums – we talked it through and got to the bottom of it. Most importantly, it DID NOT HURT when she took my x-rays. It was incredible. And she told me Im doing a great job keeping my permanent retainer clean, who doesnt love compliments? I was new to town and looking for a new dental office. I found this right around the corner from where I live, literally walking distance. Staff is nice, I was happy with my cleaning and check up. Got 2 cavities filled and that went well other than I experienced some tooth ache after. They were very professional about it when I called in and told me to come back to see whats going on. I would recommend this office.

I had a remarkable experience with them. I must say that Dr. Kahn is very polite, extremely detailed and kind. I am a medical student and was having pain in my jaws for quite some time. I knew it had a lot to do with my stress. But dentist explained in so much detail about my clenching and role of stress. She made a bite guard for me. She spent tremendous time just to make sure that my bite feels good. I must say that i no longer have headaches and pain in my jaws every morning i wake up now. I already told my friends to see this dentist for their tension headaches and TMJ pain.
Their entire staff is very friendly and make sure that patients are well taken care.

I started visiting this dentist office last year and I totally recommend their services! I initially wanted a second opinion after visiting another flashy DFW dentist. After my initial consultation, I was able to book an appointment for the fillings that I wanted the same day! Stacy, the manager, and other front office staff are great at fitting you in and working with your schedule. Theyve even called a couple of times to ask if I wanted to move up my appointment, which actually worked better for me. Stacy was also able help educate me on the difference between DHMO and PPO plans. This definitely helped me figure out which plan was best for my needs.
Regarding the fillings I had to get done, I was told by another dentist that I needed a root canal and potentially an additional root canal and crown. Dr. Kahn informed me that the cavities were very close, but she and her dental hygienists were able to save the affected teeth without any unnecessary and expensive procedures. Although I had switched insurance plans, my out-of-pocket costs ended up being several thousand dollars less than what I was quoted with the other dentist.
In summary, the dentist, manager and everyone I have come in contact with are very kind and professional. They take the time to answer any questions you may have and you can tell that they truly care about your dental and overall health. Ive visited a couple of times since my initial visit and Im happy to say Im cavity free. Although, I do have some dental concerns that are being monitored, I fully trust them and cant wait for my next appointment!

They have a quite a skill and a talent for how to announce what will look good on your face. I$0027m having my whole bite redone which is been quite a challenge but just because of their attitudes and caring I really feel supported through this difficult process. I went to great expressions for a few years, long wait times and expensive dental bills are very common here. My insurance is great and yet Im always charged hundreds of dollars when I came in to get a cleaning, while other non-dental services (knee surgery, allergy shots, etc..) my insurance premium covers without any co-pay. Simple questions asking on why their dentals services arent fully covered by my in-network insurance resulted in a very combative response from their front desk. I tried to opt out of expensive and non-standard treatment they recommended and they talked to me in a very condescending manor.
There were many instances where I booked the earliest appointment possible (~8AM) and still waited for an hour to be treated but ultimately the unprofessional and rude front office staff has inclined me to take my business elsewhere.
For whats its worth, the dental hygienists and dentists there were always friendly and great.

I just got a bill for missed appointment that I did not schedule after two years. Their service was terrible and I never went back. I specifically told them to cancel any future appointment and they still put me down for another appointment one month after my last visit without advising me. I had a appointment today and the new office manager and receptionist were amazing! Pleasant, kind, welcoming. I chose not to use their service after spending less than 2 minutes at the front desk as I needed to clean and fill my teeth, assess my implant, redo my crowns and possibly re-align my teeth. While I am not asking for a privilege, the front desk lady spoke to my wife and I in one of the most condescending manners ever in my life. I am of african origin and usually numb to issue such as this and would normally move on with the program but this one hits different as I dont think strangers should communicate with each other in the manner and tone the lady did to us. She absolutely lacked Empathy! Yes, I get a strict policy exists not allow people to seat in due to Covid but it was poorly communicated to me as it was my first visit to the clinic. No, no one should be spoken like that. She didnt even communicate with me , she simply told my wife I cant stay and I need to leave and continued business as usual as if I didnt exist. It felt like telling a dog owner to handle her dog, while I said no word. More interesting is there are other Great Expression units a few miles away that allow seat-ins even with the Covid situation. Regardless, Id chose to believe this was an oversight and hope the management trains the employees to become better at communicating with empathy.

I had one of the best dentist experience. It$0027s a long over-due review that i wanted to give and didn$0027t get a chance to do that. I saw Dr. Kahn 2 months ago. I must say, she is very knowledgable, polite, kind and caring dentist I ever had. She took time to explain to me. she was the first one to diagnose my sleep apnea that i was going through and no one ever mentioned to me. I recently had my sleep study and it was confirmed that I had it for a long time. Dr. Kahn looked at my teeth and throat and discussed about the problem and helped me see my PCP. She told me that teeth and mouth can show signs of other health problems.
I had my fillings and other work done from her as well. Didn$0027t even feel a bit of it.
She answered all my questions. Thank you so much Dr. Kahn. Please keep up the great work. Highly recommend her.

This is the first google review I have ever posted and this place is deserving of it. They are absolutely AWFUL. They are a scam, they constantly give excuses, and have somehow managed to leave their patients teeth worse than they found them. I went in for a permanent retainer and they ordered the wrong one 4 times. It has been 8 months now and they still have not received the correct retainer. They blame it on the lab and assume no responsibility. Not to mention they billed the wrong insurance account which was a headache to deal with. Stay away.

I am not one to post a negative review but this was necessary. For starters, DO NOT COME TO THIS DENTIST. I found the staff here nice and the area clean, along with a good location. My experience here went very poor very quickly following those very few positives. I came here not having a dentist in Dallas yet after moving a year before. It had been a minute since going to a dentist (1.5 years ish) and I had a pain in my gum so with the convenient location, I got in on the same day. They ended up doing a cleaning, not diagnosing the only thing bothering me and then diagnosed me with SIX cavities, gingivitis and a root canal with a needed crown. Mind you, they didn$0027t explain to me where my cavities were, the Doctor simply pointed at the x-ray and basically told me tough luck. They knew I had no dental insurance and made me aware that this would cost me almost $4k and convinced me in the same day to purchase their «insurance.» DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE. I have no pain in any of these teeth at this point so found this extremely hard to believe. Short story long, went to a trusted dentist a little out of the way and he came back to me saying I had two potential cavities. No root canal, no gingivitis. I was too late reading the rest of the reviews (which you will see line up with this one), so do yourself a favor and skip this place at all cost.

Ive been back and forth about posting this for quite some time but Ive decided to finally do it. I went into Great Expressions when I first moved to the area and was pleased with the service. I was told I had a cavity that would need to be filled so I made an appointment for that. Then I had to call back and reschedule the filling – the new appointment was with a different DDS. I took off work to come in for the filling and was told I did not have a cavity and that the dentist Id seen the first time had to pay for his sports car somehow
I will NEVER go to this dentist ever again. Thank god they never drilled into my perfectly good tooth.
