Went for cleaning and polishing services.
I inform the dentist that there is one tooth with root canal without crown need to avoid. However, I immediately feel uncomfortable the next day and it getting more painful day after day. It is bad infection and i have to remove that tooth at last.
Lack of professional advice.

X-ray was probably unnecessary, however I mentioned that I had braces before so I suppose it$0027s just to see how my teeth, gum, and bones are right now – probably a justifiable thing to do? Price is a bit steep.

Had my wisdom extracted by Dr Steffi and shes really skilful, no pain and was swiftly done. Her assistants were also very kind and gave me assurance as they knew my fear. The receptionists were friendly and always make it a point to check in or confirm appointment via texts and phone calls. Price was on the steep side but overall, it was a great experience. Thank you!

I had an appointment with Dr Eunice Tang for scaling and filling done. Have always dreaded going to the dentist as I$0027ve always found my teeth feel sensitive and my gums would have some bleeding after. Dr Tang was very assuring and patient with me, and she took time to explain what the procedures were and the reason for what I might experience, which I found different and greatly appreciated.
I will definitely go back to Dr Tang from now on for my regular review, I highly recommend Dr Tang!

Dr Eunice is the best dentist Ive had and I would 100% recommend her. Shes so meticulous and always checks in with me if Im good during any procedures. She also explains what procedures shell be doing on the day which no other dentist Ive visited has done before.

Dr Hui Chee Wah was great and his assistant!(sorry i forgot to ask her name)!
I mentioned him that I have a certain budget with my insurance and he gave me the best understanding and recommendation based on that and just asked me to get back next time to continue any further procedures. He dd great on my cleaning and filling as well!
Thanks to Maria and Irish of the front desk on addressing all of my enquiries before heading in to the clinic and at the day itself.
This place is highly recommended! 6/5 stars!

I have some issue with the clinic regarding the price that they charged for extraction. It was not communicate properly and clearly at the beginning which cause disappointment.
But the issue was quickly rectify by management after my feedback. Well done and thank you for putting customer satisfaction as a priority.

Dr Smita is professional, patient and knowledgeable. The cleaning and polishing treatment was very thorough and painless. She also reiterate the important of flossing and show me the correct way to floss my teeth. My best dental experience. I am deeply grateful for her kindness. Thanks Dr Smita !

I took my Wife to the clinic on the recommendation of a good Friend and I am happy I did. The reception area was sparklingly clean and comfortable The reception staff was very welcoming, friendly and efficient
The experience with the doctor Dr Smita Ashok was extraordinary.
Right away, she made us feel very comfortable with her pleasing personality and we felt from her demeanour that she had all the time for us.
The clinic room was well equipped and hygiene was of the highest order. The actual checkup was very professional and comfortable.
For both me and my Wife, we have finally found a Dentist for life!

DISSAPOINTING experience with the Kovan clinic! 2nd visit today after I had decided to switch to a new clinic at the start of the year due to proximity. Was told after the 2nd session that my company$0027s dental policy did not cover $0027sterilisation and consumables$0027 on my 2nd visit and had to pay out-of-pocket expense for it as well as the last session.
I remembered clearly before switching over to Nuffield Kovan, I called the clinic and the chinese lady receptionist told me after her checking that my dental policy does not requires me to pay for any out-of-pocket expense for standard cleaning and that is why I decided to switch to them. Indeed, I did not pay anything on my first session but was shocked to hear from the SAME chinese lady receptionist that they forgot to charge me on my 1st session and had to bill it together with the 2nd session.
Someone could have contacted me and explained about this charge after the 1st visit but they waited till I have completed the 2nd visit and informed me on this. OUTRIGHT DISHONEST!
CLEARLY AN UNHAPPY EXPERIENCE. WILL NOT RETURN AND RECOMMEND!

Took my daughter for her first dental visit Did not know that dental visits could be so much fun. The receptionist on duty was very friendly and the nurse invited my daughter in with a balloon. The dentist seemed very experienced in handling children . My daughter loved it. Will surely recommend this place to all parents.

Dr. Eunice Tang was patient and attentive during my dental visit. I required cleaning and scaling, and filling for one of my tooth – and she was meticulous during the whole process.
She was thoughtful in giving ample notice beforehand on what her next steps were, and the entire session was painless and smooth sailing.
Very professional and experienced! Will definitely engage her the next time I$0027m back for my 6mth review and introduce her to friends and family too!

This is my third visit to Dr Tang at Kovan Nuffield and the experience has been very pleasant. I have very sensitive teeth and gum and under Dr Tangs care, my oral condition has improved, lowered sensitivity and healthier gums. Shes patient and meticulous, I would strongly recommend Dr Tang. Have been visiting Nuffield since 3 months ago for plan to straighten my teeth. I must say the entire team is very professional from receptionists, nurses to dentists. Highly recommended dental to visit if you are in Kovan / Hougang area????

La radiografía también fue innecesaria, ya que solo reservé para servicios de limpieza y no sabía que me cobrarían. No tenía sentido para la radiografía y básicamente se ordenó solo para obtener más dinero de los clientes.
Si opta por un simple raspado y pulido, simplemente rechace la radiografía si su dentista se lo pide. Lea una reseña anterior, al menos el dentista preguntó si el paciente quería tomar radiografías. Mi dentista simplemente le pidió a su asistente que me llevara a la sala de radiografías sin explicarme por qué se necesitaba una radiografía para raspar y pulir o que se incurrirá en un cargo adicional de $ 99 por la radiografía. También asegúrese de preguntar explícitamente por todos los costos antes de solicitar los servicios o se encontrará con una sorpresa como yo.
Probé nuffield por primera vez y esta probablemente será la última vez. Hay otras clínicas que escalan y pulen para una limpieza mucho más económica y completa.

El personal se acercó para explicar que todos los costos se comunican claramente cuando los pacientes hacen la reserva por teléfono. Pero ese no fue el caso y no me lo explicaron. Sería bueno hacerlo en el futuro, especialmente para los nuevos pacientes / clientes de la clínica. También explicó que la radiografía se realizó para brindarle al dentista una comprensión más clara de la salud bucal del paciente y que los pacientes tienen la opción de rechazar la radiografía si no la desean. Pero ese mismo día no me lo comunicó el dentista de esta manera.
No obstante, agradezco el esfuerzo del conserje de personal para comunicarse conmigo y explicarme.

As others have said, it is expensive for scaling and polishing service. Dentist didn$0027t even ask if I wanted Xray and sent me for it. Total bill came up to be close to $300 for basic scaling and polishing. Used CHAS card and got $80+ subsidy. The cleaning was $120, but time spent cleaning was less than 10mins…
Other costs include xray, consultation(?) and sterilisation fee.
The Xray was uncalled for too since i only booked for cleaning services and didn$0027t know there would be charge for it. There was no point for the Xray and it was basically ordered just to get more money out of patrons.
If you do go for simple scaling and polishing, just reject the xray if your dentist ask you for it. Read a previous review, at least the dentist asked if the patient wanted to take xray. My dentist simply asked his assistant to bring me to the xray room without explaining to me why an xray was needed for scaling and polishing or that an additional charge of $99 will be incurred for the xray. Also make sure u ask explicitly for all costs before going for services or you$0027ll be in for a shock like me.
Tried nuffield for the first time and this will probably be my last time. There are other clinics which do scaling and polishing for much cheaper and more thorough cleaning

Staff reached out to explain that all costs are clearly communicated when patients make booking over call usually. But that wasn$0027t the case and it wasn$0027t explained to me. It would be good to do so in the future, especially to new patients/customers of the clinic. She also explained that xray was done to give dentist a clearer understanding of patient$0027s oral health and that patients are given a choice to reject the xray if they don$0027t want it. But on that day itself it wasn$0027t communicated this way to me by the dentist.
Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort by the staff concierge to reach out and explain to me.

Dr Hui Chee Wah is a good dental surgeon as I did not experience any discomfort or pain. I highly recommend him for dental scaling and polishing and for other dental issues as he was very good at explaining my treatment and my dental condition. He was patient too.
The dental nurse Hwei Yun, was so gentle and accomodating to me. She was alert when assisting the Dentist.
The 2 front desk staff, Alice and Amanda were chirpy and helpful. Always smiling and helpful. Kudos to all the staff at Nuffield.

It was my first wisdom tooth extraction so i was petrified. But the staff here are super sweet and patient, taking care of me and assuring me every step of the way that its gonna be okay. My dentist was Dr Hui and omg thankful to him cos he was super gentle and to me was awesome because i have the might of a peanut. He was extremely patient and would check to see if i was feeling alright throughout the entire procedure. Before started, i did ask how much for extraction of wisdom tooth. The dentist told me ard $200. Bt didnt tell me abt other charges that they will charge me. In the end, with all the hidden cost, minus my blue chas card, iv to pay $409 in cash!! This is insane! Where as, their website stated can use medisave even tho for extraction. Bt now they claim that was an old info. I feel so cheated of my hard earn money. Coz most of my friends do wisdom extraction only abt $190!
