I went to the office trying to find a good dentist.
I tried to do a mouth guard and the price quoted was cheaper than US… so i decided to try it. After, the quality is not the same than my mouth guard that i got from my dentist in US.. and the price is not that much cheaper… so i guess i het what i paid for….
Please asked to price and detail every thing in term of $$$ before you commit.. to avoid charges that you think is included but not. The receptionist is not friendly at all and just charge charge charge money.
They do implant they said but i did not see the 3D x-ray to get idea if a bone grafting ja needed and checking position…

Certainly not soft on your wallet! Another tourist trap! I was charged 400 USD for a 1 hour deep clean!! As someone whose been to San Jose many years, I assumed prices would be well below US ones just like they are at all the other dental practices. I got the work done without asking for a price, and they went for the jugular – maybe they thought I was a tourist.

Their predatory prices turned out to be even higher than the USA, I pay 300 USD in San Diego, 100 USD less!

I now go to an honest professional locally and pay well under 200 USD.

Just completed a crown replacement and it was a wonderful experience. The replacement cost me half the price it would in the states, but it was executed perfectly and in less than one week. I was nervous about dental care outside of the US, but Rosa did an outstanding job replacing my cracked crown, and the new crown looks much better than any of my others from the states. Her scheduler was always accommodating and adjusted my appointment times based on my vacation needs. The office was very clean and the nicest I’ve ever been to. I had my worst experiment with dr Rose, she extracted my tooth very unprofessional,,after extraction my other teeth lost sense of feeling, instead to decide the problem or suggested me free consultation o treatment, she suggested root canal for absolutely healthy tooth, without any xray, or my complain about pain in the tooth. My wife and son and I traveled to Cabo specifically for dental work for our son by Dr Pena. Based on the testimonials we were encouraged and in truth the experience was very good initially, but in the end the dental work just didn$0027t hold up. She and her husband who run the clinic were very professional and very accommodating. My son, who$0027s a young adult has a malnourished jaw from birth and has always had dental issues. She had to perform many root canals, fillings and 7 crowns! You can imagine the cost of these in Canada. The fillings and root canals have all help just fine, but sadly, virtually all the crowns are showing signs of decay under them. My wife pointed out we were rushed to get a lot of work done near the end, but even if that$0027s so, the crowns all have to be replaced again due to their poor fitting. My husband and I came down to San Jose Del Cabo from Oregon, on a vacation. While in town we dropped into the dental office to see if we could schedule an appt for later in the week for myself and husband to have a teeth cleaning and general check up.
They worked us into the schedule immediately; the staff and Dr Pena were very professional, the clinic very clean and i was pleased with the experience.
our total cost turned out to be 25% of what we were quoted in the United States for a cleaning and check up as we no longer have dental insurance the cost savings was significant.

Rosa Elena was amazing, My girlfriend chipped her tooth at our resort in the swimming pool and got it all fixed up by Rosa. She was very assuring and took the time to ask if my girlfriend was OK while performing the procedure. She free-handed and fixed the chip perfectly, the color, texture and feel. We had lost the chipped part of the tooth so we were relieved she could fix it in a freehand manner. The most surprising part is that it did not cost us much just 250 USD, we were relieved to have it fixed in such short notice and received wonderful service. Rosa$0027s clinic is very modern and clean with AC, so it was an awesome experience. I would recommend her to anyone she was charming and experienced. We will definitively be coming back if we need more work done. She supposedly has a lot of Canadian and American clientele. We are from Calgary, AB.

I went to Dr. Roza Pena in May for four Emax crowns on my front teeth. I$0027m absolutely THRILLED how they turned out they are so comfortable and they look so real and natural! found dr rosy pena by research on internet. did not know anyone who had been to her. sent several inquiries to her via internet and they were always answered promptly and with helpful info. i had 2 bridges done and my husband had an upper plate replaced. we were both extremely happy with dr pena and her staff. were all very pleasant, plus she speaks very good english. would definitely recommend her. figure it cost me about half what it might have cost me in alberta. plus we got to enjoy the sunshine and good food of san jose.
