UPDATE…. I went in yesterday with a cracked tooth and extreme pain. Didn$0027t call, just went straight there because its within 5 miles of my home. They got me in, pulled the tooth, and handled it extremely quickly. I was VERY pleased with the entire experience of all the staff.

Went in for severe tooth pain and waited almost 45 minutes past my appointment time. The staff was friendly and I had no choice but to remain patient. Had an exam exactly a month ago and need some work done. Nobody has called me so I decided to call today. Thats where the nightmare began. When u call its a call center and theres about 10,000 people in the background all talking at once, not the actual office. After repeating my name, phone #, DOB, and store location about 3 times, I was disconnected. So yay!!!! I had to call and do it all over again. Going to the actual building would have been faster. LITERALLY. Horrible , horrible customer service on the phone. I never actually talked to the location I went to. This place scammed me out of a tooth cleaning. I went in to get my wisdom teeth taken out, they told me I needed a gum treatment and tooth cleaning as well. So I set up the payment plan and got my wisdom teeth out, and a week later got the gum treatment. Then I scheduled an appointment for the cleaning and a couple days later they called and canceled because the dentist wasn’t available. Two weeks later I made another appointment for the cleaning and a couple days after they called and canceled it stating I already had it done which wasn’t true. Okay so, first of all let me just say.. this is the best place I$0027ve ever went to and let me break it down.

I have a big fear of the dentist, the sounds, pain, everything about it makes me scared. I$0027ve been judged by a dentist during my childhood and I was afraid of it happening again. I suffer with anxiety as well. On top of that, I$0027ve dealt with a lot of things that I will keep short.(Depression and self esteem issues.) If you have the same fears/anxiety as me, take your time to read this.

The day came when I started to deal with pain. Jaw pain. Over the years of not getting a professional cleaning done, I accumulated build up of calculus/ tartar all on the left side and bottom of my mouth. I also have impacted wisdom teeth. No matter how many times I brushed, it will not come off. I had to tell myself, «Either I deal with the pain and a chance of getting infected or I deal with my fear.» This was my toughest decision and I$0027m just glad I made the right choice.

My first appointment: (Exam/ Xray) Let me tell you, I was so scared that day. Waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes had my mind racing. The Xray Specialist calls out my name and the feeling of dread washes over me. I was so scared that I started to shake and cry. «I have to do this.» I told myself. Once the specialist noticed I was nervous, she made me feel at ease. In fact, everyone made me feel at ease and I appreciate it so much.

My second appointment: This is where the action starts. I$0027m not as nervous this time, I feel better knowing what is to come next. I had a cleaning done. I felt a little pain so I was given numbing shots and I felt so calm. It was actually soothing knowing that all of the build up was coming off. The sounds didn$0027t bother me as much, I kinda zoned out. I don$0027t know how long it took, I$0027m gonna say 45 minutes. But oh my god did I feel great. I was given a mirror to look at my teeth. I started to cry tears of joy. My teeth is so clean and happy. They look so nice!

That sums up my experience. If you suffer from the same fears/anxiety as me, Dr Lali, Julie, and Karime will make you feel calm and soothed. The front of the office, the ladies are so kind and understanding. Make sure to be very open about your fears, they$0027re be happy to help you! It$0027s not as bad as you might think. In fact, I think it$0027s interesting learning about teeth. This place has given me the confidence to smile again. On to the next appointment for a check up! I happened to walk into her new office this morning to get a quote for removal, since I am still in braces with no end in sight. She felt SO bad that Western Dental has left all her past clients in limbo this whole time. Not only was she able to remove them for me right then, but I already have my retainers. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO WESTERN DETAL. EVER.**

I was supposed to have my braces removed March of 2020 after almost two years of treatment. Their office was closed for months & months after Covid hit. I get that, not entirely their fault. But no communication – they even continued to schedule appointments through the call center for people to show up to a closed office. Unreal.

I$0027m now at a year of treatment longer than needed and can$0027t book an appointment to move forward for almost two months now. All I$0027m told is there$0027s a temporary orthodontist with limited availability and that they don$0027t have any dates available to schedule yet. I$0027m told that someone will call me back once they do. No calls. I call to follow up and it$0027s back to square one. I$0027m starting to feel like I am never going to get these braces off! No empathy given when frustrations are expressed. I have been very patient up to now.

I called them for an appointment and they told me that they take my insurance. Then they scheduled me for an appointment and later told me that they don’t accept my insurance provider anymore. The whole thing was very suspicious especially they asked me to provide all my personal details including my SSN.

PS western dental left me a reply saying that they will able to resolve my problem. When I called they kept me transferring from one person to another for over 20 minutes and the last person I talked to (his name was Alejandro) promised to call me back the same day. It’s been 4 days and I’m still waiting for that phone call. All I wanted to find out was if they are going to bill my insurance company.

Went in for a cleaning and filling. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful! The X-ray tech was a nice! Dental Hygienist was awesome; he explained thoroughly what he was doing and made sure I didn$0027t feel pain. Dr was a pretty awesome guy too! Very nice all around experience after years of not going to the dentist! Recommend this location because of the staff alone, not to mention the customer service! I would give 0 stars if I could. I made an appointment. They claimed the Oracle location was opening July 13th and set me up for that day. I go for my appointment, THE DOORS ARE LOCKED. STILL CLOSED. Tried to call and it transfers me back to that call center and I$0027m on hold for over 30 minutes I gave up and contacted a different dentists office. I get a text today saying I missed my appointment. I call the number the text provided and I GOT HUNG UP ON. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.
