I$0027ve always been nervous to go to dentists because half of the time my needs aren$0027t met, but after coming here I feel very validated and on top of that the the dentists who have been working on my teeth are absolutely fantastic!
One of the dentists name is Jennifer and I highly recommend coming in, she$0027s got such a Great bubbly personality and did I mention they do free braces scans?
I called at 11am to make an appointment for a cleaning. I was told I had to have an exam first and then they would schedule the cleaning for a separate day. Fine. They say they have an exam time free for 2:30 the same day. Great. I look at my work calendar, shuffle some things around and am good to go. I get a call at noon to confirm my appointment which I dont answer because Im at work. I was told theyd email paperwork beforehand. I check at 2pm. Nope.
So I go in at 2:10, figuring after my long absence Id need to do paperwork. The front desk guy says he needs my dental insurance card. I say they dont give me one; theyre supposed to call. He looks at me like Im crazy. He asks for my card again. I say that they dont give me one and we have to call. He says I called you today to get this earlier. I replied, The message you left was to confirm my appointment, which I assumed you knew I was keeping because I just made it an hour before. Your message said nothing about needing insurance information. I take the paperwork and call my insurer, ask for the information and write it down for them. They then call back to ensure Ive written everything down correctly.
Then I wait until 3:22, when I need to get back to work for the meetings I put off. Four other patients who came in after me were taken before me by this point. I ask to reschedule and another front desk woman says, Well, when you make a same day appointment, you know youre going to wait. I replied, You all said nothing about that. You said you had time to see me at 2:30. You clearly didnt and should never have offered the appointment if you didnt have the time. Well, what do you need done? I just need my teeth cleaned. Well, you need an exam to know what kind of cleaning. Note that in the past and everywhere else Ive been, exams and cleanings were the same appointment. I did reschedule the exam for Friday afternoon but after thinking about how rudely I was treated and how very little I wanted to be treated that way at least twice more, cancelled completely and will spend my money elsewhere where the front desk knows how to act professionally and take responsibility. I wont be back.

I am not one that typically leaves negative reviews, but in this case the customer service is so egregiously bad I thought I owe it to other customers to warn them about this place. If I could give a 0, I would. Horrible customer service. I gave them multiple chances thinking it was a bad day or an individual employee, but no. It is across the board. I don$0027t mind dentists making money, but I do when they do so by ripping off their customers with illegal charges. Whether it is intentional, which I think it may be because the business manager literally refused to talk to my insurance company when they called to explain the overcharges, resulting in my insurance company filing a financial complaint against Western Dental to recoup my money. Or if it was unintentional and they simply refuse to acknowledge their mistakes. Either way, they tried to insist I was wrong, talking down to me the whole time, and refused to talk to my insurance. Horrible company.

Tayde checked me in with great professionalism and kindness. When I originally scheduled this extraction appointment, there was a conflict with another of my medical appts. The office was very patient and understanding in ensuring I get the appt that best meets my needs.

I must say it started out a little rocky last year because of the Covid-19 outbreak. I wasn$0027t very happy because they wasn$0027t seeing patients. But when they started back it was full steam ahead. And to the entire staff I truly apologize for they way I acted. The ladies there are very professional, kind, and understanding. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. ??????

I went to Western Dental to have them look at my tooth. I got there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I circled I was pregnant on the form and turned it in. They were running behind which is understandable and I ended up waiting 1hour and 15 minutes before I was seen. When they called me back they took me to the radiology room to take x-rays of my teeth. I let the x-ray technician know that I was pregnant and she told me that I had to reschedule. I asked if the doctor could at least look at my tooth since I was already there and she said they had to take x-rays before doing anything else. I have to say I was definitely a tad irritated. There were 3 customer service representatives up front doing paperwork and none of them took the time to double check my intake form and see that I was pregnant. What if I didn$0027t mention to the radiology technician that I was pregnant thinking they went over my medical records and they ended up doing x-rays. I more than likely will not reschedule and will not recommend this place to others. This place could work on throughly checking patient medical records and customer serice.service

Went to Western Dental 2901 B-way for routine cleaning, x-rays and evaluation. The staff generally was very nice. They were considerate and assisted me with my walker. The problems began when the hygienist during the cleaning said she was putting fluoride on my teeth. I said OK because I thought it was covered by my insurance & no one had told me otherwise (like discussion of a treatment plan). As I was checking out (I later learned that Western Dental was out of network which they neglected to tell me when I made the appointment) the receptionist at the front desk advised me I owed them $39 for the fluoride treatment because my insurance only covered it for people under under 14 years old. I am 60+. I feel like if there is going to be a charge for a service over and above what your insurance covers (in or out of network) Western Dental should tell you BEFORE you get the service & let you decide whether you want it. If I had known there was a charge I would have declined the fluoride treatment on my teeth. Beware and ask if they in Network for you and for notification of all not covered services before you receive the service so you can decide whether you want the service or not. The icing on the cake was that a referral was made while checking out, for a Root Canal to a Dentist that was out of Network, go figure ??. I paid them the $39 and left.

I rate Western Dental this low because they constantly change my appointment times, often without telling me. The front desk is unprofessional. They don$0027t give you a correct estimate of charges and when they say they$0027ll call you with it they never do.

Staff on site was helpful and polite. Main office finance department sent my orthodontist account into collections after I lost my job due to pandemic. No options were given for payment after missing one month and now I have a balance in collection that was suppose to be payed over a two year period due immediately with incomplete treatment. They want to charge me 300 to remove my braces (although treatment is not complete) and 200 for a retainer. Go somewhere else for braces, save ur time and money.

I$0027m currently a patient in braces. As an existing patient in treatment you would think it would be easier to get an appointment. They have canceled my appointments multiple times and have forgotten to call me. This last on was canceled in early October and now they are telling me there are no available appointments for the rest of the year. It is unacceptable. I am going to be in braces double the time then I was quoted because I can never get in even for an adjustment!

Im very disappointed with the way theyre handling appointments. Im in treatment for my braces and they have canceled my appointment more than three times and whenever I calm them Im on hold for almost an hour and still I dont t get an appointment set up because they do not have any availability??like seriously its been 6 months since The last time I got my braces changed. Since the pandemic started they closed the office for almost three months and never gave me a call about them canceling my appointment. As of right now its considered emergency because my wires hurts and I can no longer go on without an appointment as soon as possible. I would say this is unprofessional and change needs to be made because I can not keep making payments without getting the service I pay for.

Luego voy allí para mi propio tratamiento de dientes rotos y limpieza. La asistente dental supuestamente «limpió» mis dientes, pero todavía tengo decoloración, ¡creo que debería haberme limpiado! Nope! Just nope! Im usually a very patient person, but this place knows how to test it. First off I made an appointment for my son because I can clearly see he has a cavity on one of his teeth that he said hurts. On day of appointment I get there early, ended up waiting over two hours. After all that waiting, I asked what was wrong and they finally tell me that there was a problem with my insurance, why didnt they tell me that in the first place! I had things to do that day! Anyways the dentist told me my son has NO cavities at next appointment. Took him somewhere else, they fixed it.
Then I go there for my own treatment for broken tooth and cleaning. The dental assistant lady supposedly cleaned my teeth but I still have discoloration I think shouldve been cleaned! Then dentist says the rest of my teeth are fine. Three weeks later two of my back teeth broke. I called them to make an emergency appointment, was on hold for 40 minutes. Lady answers, says she will forward my info to my dentist to schedule the emergency appointment, I was in so much pain ??
I knew that I would probably be waiting a while so I called a different place, got treatment with no payments IMMEDIATELY.
Its been 4 days, still no call from my dentist. Can you imagine if I waited longer!?
If you want to make it right, I feel like you shouldnt charge me for the little service I had there. The employees are nice but the management need to something about that…

The office is wonderful and kind. Dr. Nay gave two options and also what would be the best outcome for each. He explained the process all the way through and made me feel comfortable. At the end of the process my pain in my mouth when away. Even the Young lady taking my x-rays was very polite and kind. I recommend this office to anyone who needs a dentist and/or is having a dental emergency.

I had a appointment today but they canceled it when I showed up because my insurance was not verified. I made a appointment weeks ago and I have insurance, why would they wait until the day of to verify my insurance if they had plenty of time? Why could they not bill my insurance after the services were done? This was a incredible waste of time.

The staff was beyond wonderful the girl at the front desk put out extra effort to help with my carecredit for my son, the 2 doctors were the best we$0027ve had the pleasure to meet. And the dentist tech was great. My son hates going to the dentist and after having to have 3 teeth pulled said he would go back to complete what needs to be done. They don$0027t make you feel ashamed of the way your teeth are they make you feel comfortable and really show they care. Give them a opportunity to show you and you won$0027t be disappointed. Their prices are not outrageous plus they have in-house financing which without offering that to us we would never have been able to get my son out of pain and having problems later on since 1 of the teeth was infected. So once again try them !! I$0027m telling you , you will not want to go anywhere else ever again.
