Went in for a consultation yesterday and was able to get my appointment today. The staff were very friendly and I will definitely come here in the future for my dental needs.

Revisión real: como todos en las revisiones de 1 estrella, los tiempos de espera son malos. Tenía una cita a las 9 am cuando abren, cliente por primera vez, así que me presenté temprano, las puertas no se abrieron hasta las 910 ish. Aunque tenía una cuenta en línea con todo mi historial, tuve que volver a llenar todo, no es problema.
Obtenga una llamada unos 45 minutos más tarde para las radiografías, luego espere otros 15-20 minutos para el dentista, en este punto todo es normal, además de que el lugar está en el lado sucio y mugriento.
Aquí está el truco; después de estar sentado para el dentista, el higienista dental viene y mide mis encías, bastante estándar PERO. Ella me dijo que mis encías no estaban tan bien en la parte de atrás, lo cual tal vez sea cierto. Pero a diferencia de cualquier otro consultorio dental, nunca me dijeron los números de medición reales. Entonces las cosas cambian, se convierte en un argumento de venta. El higienista y el gerente de la oficina entraron y trataron de venderme un tratamiento de producto, Perio Protect.
No fue tanto el producto (que, por cierto, las afirmaciones son dudosas en el mejor de los casos), fue la forma en que me lo «vendieron». Me sentí como si estuviera en un terrible argumento de venta de tiempo compartido. Todo se sintió como si saliera del consultorio del dentista a un lote de autos usados ??y me dijeran lo bueno que es un Accord del 96. No resultó tan genuino, se sintió como una empresa que obliga a un producto a su clientela. El tratamiento tampoco estaba cubierto en absoluto por mi seguro. Pero por una baja tasa de interés del 12% podría prometírselo.
Solo me molestó. He sido muy afortunado de tener un seguro privado la mayor parte de mi vida adulta, lo que me permite ir a consultorios privados. Crecí yendo a clínicas de menor costo como esta, y siento que se están aprovechando de una comunidad inmerecida al impulsar productos o servicios que pueden no ser necesarios o útiles. Luego, venda con gran interés a alguien que solo puede pagar la atención dental básica para ellos o sus hijos.
Otras cosas a destacar: mientras estaba en la silla del dentista escuché una discusión acalorada con un cliente habitual, quejándose de su factura, un poco entretenido, pero eso nunca había sucedido en una práctica privada.
El dentista real me pareció profesional y competente, no lo suficiente como para superar las fallas de otras prácticas.

Something super fishy about the 4.0 review on Google. The reviews are all either 1 or 5 stars. Surprisingly (or Unsurprisingly), all the 5 star reviews mention Mayra W by name. Other review platforms give much lower reviews.
Actual review: Like everyone in the 1 star reviews, wait times are bad. I had an appointment at 9 am when they open, 1st time client so I showed up early, doors didnt open til 910 ish. Even though I had an account online with all my history, I had to refill everything out again, no biggie.
Get called in about 45 minutes later for X-rays, then wait another 15-20 minutes for Dentist, at this point everything is just average, besides the place being a on the dirty grimy side.
Here$0027s the kicker; after being seated for the dentist the Dental Hygienist comes and measures my gums, pretty standard BUT. She told me my gums were not doing so well in the back which is maybe true. But unlike any other Dental office they never told me the actual measurement numbers. Then things change, it becomes a sales pitch. The hygienist and the office manager come in and tried sell me a product treatment, Perio Protect.
It wasn$0027t so much the product (which btw claims are dubious at best) It was how it was $0027sold$0027 to me. It felt like I was in a terrible timeshare sales pitch. The whole thing felt like I stepped out of dentist office onto a used car lot being told how great a $002796 Accord is. It did not come off as genuine, it felt like corporate forcing a product on their clientele. The treatment was also not covered at all by my insurance. But for a low low rate of 12% interest I could fiance it.
Just made me upset. I$0027ve been very fortunate to have private insurance most of my adult life, allowing me to go to private practices. I grew up going to lower cost clinics much like this one, and I feel that they are taking advantage of an undeserved community by pushing products or services that may not be required or useful. Then up selling with crazy high interest to someone who is only able afford basic dental care to themselves or their children.
Other things of note: While on dentist chair heard a heated argument with a repeat customer, complaining about his bill, kinda entertaining but never had that happen at a private practice.
The actual dentist did strike me as professional and competent, not enough to over come other practices faults.
Looked like the computer screens were being held in place by scotch tape. Equipment was outdated.

Excellent service, great doctor$0027s and friendly staff. Problem we encountered is the appointment time. It takes 4 – 8 weeks to get a appointment. Another problem we faced when doctor calls off on your appointment date. Appointment was rescheduled and it took another 6 – 8 week. We request, if appointment can be done within months time and waiting time is not too long. Thank you, Sareest

Horrible place. I waited an hour. Theres no excuse for that. They lied to me and said they would get more work done than they actually did. It takes 2 MONTHS to be seen by your dentist. People there are moody douchebags. The young girl at the reception desk is the worst one of all. Shes rude all of the time. I hope she gets fired. And if you want to switch dentist they dont transfer over xrays…or anything. They make the process horrible. DO NOT COME HERE. I would rate it negative stars if possible. Hate it with a passion.

Staff very pleasant. Office very old/dated. I understand they will be moving to a new facility soon. Would give higher rating but my 2 visits were not very timely. My meet and greet appt was an hour late. My cleaning appt even though first thing in am was still 50 min late. Cleaning went fine except I think an MD should check the hygienists work before patient leaves.

Don$0027t come here, they are incompetent, I have bin lied to 3 time just trying to get a periodontal referral.
First they gave me a fake number that actually made an appointment with me just to call me back weeks later and cancel saying there$0027s no perodintis at this office, second they say my dental insurance does not cover it, third i told them to send refferal to my insurance and they would take care of everything & they say that they have to talk to there manager and call me back but never did.

I had a root canal referred in this office. I told them I have pain but the made me an appointment in two months. When I went there they asked me about authorization document from my primary doctor. They never asked me in advance and now I have to wait another month. Trouble Castumer Service, dont expect appointment reminder from them.

This is the absolute worst dentist office I have ever been to in my entire life. They dont care about the customers they only try and get people in cell you any and everything they can. Me and my family waited for 3 1/2 hours just to get an x-ray done and every time we ask them where we coming up next they told us itll be just a few more minutes, therefore if you were thinking about taking your dog to this dentist office I think it would be OKBut as far as for humans this is absolutely absurd and ridiculous this is not even considered a place of business what a joke.

Absolute worst experience! This place does not care about your appointment time. My appointment was at 10:00AM and its 11:00AM I still haven$0027t been seen. I don$0027t know in the world do they think its right to make their patients wait an hour to 2 hours!!!??? This isn$0027t my first time waiting 1-2hours! Last time I came I waited 2 hours to get seen for 10 mins by a dentist. SMH!

The worst dental work ive ever had done. A the work was terribly done and rushed. They overcharged me and then later harassed me constantly when I had already paid them what was due. Western Dental harassed me SO much that I actually got the district attorney involved. There was no evidence of me owing ANYTHING, and the DA sent a threat to Western Dental to cease their harassment. I urge anyone dealing with the same issue to contact the state. I just recieved an email about a class action lawsuit AGAINST western dental that will be paying all those of us who were wrongly charged a late fee, for no reason. This company is full of crooks and underappreciated and overworked dentists. AVOID LIKE CORONAVIRUS! PS alot of these 5 star reviews are fake. Check the google account, they have only posted on other dental sites. SCAM!

I was literally on excruciating pain for 5 days and it seems I am diverted to different unassigned clinics. It is an emergency case and they prefer me to wait until Jan 15 for an Emergency case? I think this might escalate to worst because of this pain.

I appreciate the steps they$0027re taking for COVID safety, which factor into the wait time. I saw a lot of facility cleaning going on. They were efficient, friendly, and professional. No complaints. I got an exam, a cleaning, and 4 fillings done in the span of a week, but I got lucky and swooped in on a cancellation. They$0027re pretty busy.
Mayra was very sweet at the reception desk and helped put me at ease. As a person in customer service, I know how much energy that takes to maintain all day and I appreciated it very much. The doctor who gave me the fillings was a man of few words but he was kind and checked in with me often to make sure I was comfortable.
This place is definitely no frills/low budget. The lobby isn$0027t particularly inviting aesthetically, and I was nervous after reading some less than stellar reviews. With insurance, it seems that you either pay with more time (wait time) or you pay with more money (pricier insurance). At around $8 a month for my dental insurance, I fully expect to pay with more time and am OK with that.
Across 3 appointments, my best wait time was a speedy 10 minutes (last appointment of the day.) The worst wait was 90 minutes, which didn$0027t bother me as I had read reviews about long waits and was prepared for it with nothing else planned afterward. The other wait was around 40 minutes. I used the time to clean out my car, but you could also just bring a book or go somewhere close by to pass the time until you get the text that they$0027re ready for you.
Ignore the lesser reviews and give them a chance, I$0027m pleasantly surprised at the service I got.

At first I felt like they were being really slow with my approval process for my daughter but in all they were just looking out for my best interest. In the end we ended up with EVERYTHING we needed and paid nothing outta pocket we are forever thankful and LOVE this place they made us feel welcomed and very friendly and sensitive to my baby$0027s needs. Theres a moment of reckoning when ones health and ones relationship with money combine to force one to grow. I mean as in growing pains. Ive been lackadaisical with my teeth for 4 years now, and a recent cracked molar which I touch alongside with my tongue, all the time, forced me into a dental office. The waiting room with kids and moms and dads made it difficult to focus. But the few hours spent with the general office manager, Mayra W., the dentist, and even the patients in the waiting room, brought clarity and calmness to me. I would need a financial plan. I will make multiple visits for much needed work. I have been mulling over this obsessively, but I feel less worry and better focus as the days move forward. I can do this. Ana S. Is an amazing asset to western dental I worked with the her majority of the time with my visits. She is very personable and is able to educate you on a level that is understandable. She made sure that I got the services that I need and understood my financial struggles. If anyone is walking into western dental i suggest you speak with her she is amazing and gets the job done. I visited this office on 112/11/2019. Mayra W. has been so helpful to help me to understand the treatment plan. It is hard to understand treatment plan without help. Mayra has exerted her kindness and patient to treat to explain things to ease my worry.
