I have been looking for a new dentist for a long time as my previous dentist passed. I have seen a LOT of dentists since then. Sadly, there are more bad than good ones out there. By the way, I have horrible crooked British teeth and I love seeing the dentist. I see them numerous times each year. I know a good one when I find one. I saw Dr. Kazten (? Sorry if I got her name wrong) and she was EXCELLENT!!! Best I$0027ve seen in about 5 years. She was thorough, confident in her work, capable, friendly and knowledgeable. She was patient with my constant questioning (to see just how knowledgeable she was) and everything was discussed before work started and as we went. She always asked about my comfort level and even went as far as to massage my jaw a bit after a long stretch and reapplied lip balm often to prevent chapped lips or splitting which I REALLY appreciated. Turns out she wanted to be a dentist ever since high school and it shows. All staff that I dealt with spoke English. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Kazten at California Dental. Everyone is nice and speaks english, and there is wifi in the lobby(pw is on the router) however I was quoted 40-60USD per filling, and ultimately charged 60 for every filling as was my partner.
