I am here once again to verify that these people are great irresponsible and unprofessional. 3 months ago I was here to ask for a money back for a treatment they didn$0027t do, they told me I had to wait 2 months. A month ago I called to find out why they still had not returned my money and they told me that there was nothing to return, I came to the office and they did not open me even though it was during office hours. It was when I posted my first review, which they responded right away and said that someone from management would contact me. Nobody called me in a whole month, so I decided to return and now they tell me that they have to wait for my insurance to pay something that it owes since June 2020 and until my insurance does not pay they will not give me my money back. I have been a patient here for a few years. The staff are friendly and create a fun atmosphere. Dr. Mikkelson is a wonderfully skilled dentist with great assistants at his side. Ive recently been in the care of an amazing hygienist. His name is Shenouda Ibrahim. His attention to detail is incredible. He does fabulous cleanings and is sensitive to other issues. I found the Clearwater location with Dr Mickelson to be less than stellar. After being called back by the dental assistant who seem to be a little lost, she proceeded to take the x-rays and the doctor came in looked at the x-rays and then sent me on my way. as I approached the front door I was called back so that they could do the probing that needed to be done as well after that was done the doctor came in for roughly 5 minutes and proceeded to tell me all the work I needed to have done to the tune of about $5,000 plus seeing a oral surgeon. as this was in my initial visit I also expected a teeth cleaning but was told by one of the hygienists in the office that it would be illegal in the State of Florida for them to clean my teeth being that I had two broken teeth. Sadly I am very disappointed with this office and the dentist as well. the dentist did not appear to be interested in any concerns are the problems that I might have. Needless to say I definitely will not be right turning to this location in Clearwater

I took my son there to have his teeth cleaned. It was our first and last appointment with this place. In 2 hours they could only get the X-rays done. They could not fit the cleaning in those 2 hours. Went here a few years back and was so uncomfortable with the visit. Once I had to sit down with the women about finances, she all but told me I should put my mouth before my rent. I tried to explain to her I was a student, I had a low income job, and there was just no way it could happen. I had no idea what a great dentist was until I started going here. Dr. Mickelson is, by far, the most thorough Dentist I have ever been to. I am so glad I found this Dentist! The Doctor shows sincere concern and expertise in his field and the staff is fantastic. I am very impressed and glad I found them. The Dr. expressed some concerns and discussed a plan to correct the issues. Nice first visit down hill after that 4 months still waiting for refund. Nothing but run around from office manager Allyson and she refuses to give me number to corporate along with other staff members. Since she keeps blaming corporate maybe I should explain situation. Don$0027t go to this office if you don$0027t have to. Take your hard earned money some where that your treated with respect.
