Worst communicating dentist. I had check up last april from this lady doctor. She talked about implant or partial denture. In May I had deep cleaning. In June I had fill up from another doctor and complained that I did not get any informaion about what to do with my teeth. Then this another doctor told me that partial denture is better than implant in my condition so I agreeded and made an appointment for today and I went there at 8am to have my two teeth extracted. And the front told me I don$0027t have any appointment but since I had wanted talk about my condition, she can make an appoint with the original lady doctor at 9. I told the front desk that I work at 10 and it was very rude of them to make my appointment gone without informing me. And I don$0027t want to come here again. All the front desk said was OK, no apologies or what so ever.

This past week I had a crown that was at least 20, maybe 30 years old, fall off one evening. I called the next day and they told me to come in immediately. With the age of the crown, I was expecting they would recommend a new one, which would be expensive. Fortunately, the Dr checked how the old crown fit on the tooth, said it was ok, and just glued it on again. I am thankful he was honest enough to do that, rather than suggesting a new one so they could make a lot more money.

I wish I could give more stars to this practice and Dr. Adam Jense and Lena. I got into an accident while on vacation in Anchorage and, was referred to Dr. Adam Jense from ER for emergency dental work. He is super professional and caring. I got the most complicated dental treatments in my life from them. They also prepared a detailed clinic notes so I could do follow-ups with my regular dentist returning home. I$0027ve had quite a bit of work done here and I always leave impressed. I switched to Affordable Dental Care after being quoted an exorbitant amount by my previous dentist. Every person in this office is extremely kind and exceptionally knowledgeable. Most of all, there is always a plentiful supply of humor and I LOVE that. The Doctors and the assistants always make sure that I am as comfortable as I can be and do every thing in their power to have the least amount of pain as possible. They promised they would work with me on payment arrangements and they have. They have been very flexible so I may continue to have the work done that I really need. Most of all, they believe me when I say I am not numb yet! I had a tooth saved that someone else may have just said pull it, but Dr. Seaman took a chance and did save it. All of the staff at Affordable Dental have been friendly and helpful everytime Ive called or been into the office! They were amazing with my 2 year old during his first dental appointment!! Dr. Seaman showed him all the instruments and explained what she was doing. I began going to Affordable Dental Care about two years ago when I went looking for an in-network provider for the Teamsters. They were able to get me right in and explained the costs up front so there were no surprises. Their staff are friendly and very professional and are good at sending me reminders so I dont forget any appointments. Going to the dentist has always been a traumatic experience for me. I have a lot of anxiety and it is hard for me to calm myself down but they are always so kind and compassionate and make me feel as comfortable as possible even going as far as getting me a blanket. I have seen both Dr. Bressler (very easy on the eyes and funny too) and Dr. Seaman (called me back on a Sunday about an issue I was having even though she was on vacation with her family) and they have helped me tremendously with my dental care. I feel as if I matter when they call me after a procedure to make sure I am doing okay. (Who does that anyway?) and for this I will always be a loyal patient.

Affordable Dental in anchorage is in the same building as Planned Parenthood. We won$0027t even discuss their customer service or lack there of. Both the wife and I have visited there fairbanks location. Having not been to a dentist for nearly 10 years and never having a tooth ache in my life I was a bit nervous to say the least. Well now my teeth hurt from fillings I received 4 months back. The wife has been to this office 6 times in attempt to get her fillings corrected. After showing frustration in office, about being charged to be seen to fix the pain mentioned above I was asked to leave. No good experiences to speak of in the total of 10 visits made. Wouldn$0027t recommend this place to anyone.
