Great dental practice! The dentist, Dr Barker, is nothing short of awesome, he is not only skilled but he also has exceptional bedside manner. Ive been very pleased with his service and dental work. Excellent front office staff, excellent dental care team. As an MS patient, dental work can be very taxing for me. I went to BlueBonnet Dental today with a tooth emergency, and i was welcomed with nothing but kindness from the moment i hit the door, from the amazingly kind receptionist who could visibly see i was in pain and helped me verify my ins, to the beautiful black queen who was patient with me while we got my digital x-rays done and finally Dr.Bradley who was knowledgeable enough to know when an oral surgeon is needed. The referral this office gave me were able to fit me in even though they had very limited space. I cannot recommend a dentist more than Bluebonnet Dental! I had my first appointment with them at the end of last year. They were able to accommodate a last minute appointment for a cleaning without question. When I arrived, Rosemary worked with me without question to make the process as smooth as possible. Dr. Dang was wonderful too! Normally I hate going to the dentist and it$0027s a difficult experience but this was different! Dr. Dang listened to my concerns and offered helpful tips. Great all around experience with my dental care at Bluebonnet Dental! The receptionist was welcoming and accommodating, as she was able to fit me in before I went out of town for a filling and regular cleaning. After looking around for the many dentists in my area that took my insurance I found this dental practice. After going through the website and reading about this practice and the people in it I knew this had to be the place I trusted for my dental care. First impressions upon entering were great. Parking was plentiful, the office was clean and comfortable and the examining seat was ergonomic and they offered Netflix while in the exam room.
The assistant, Maggie (I hope this is how it is spelled) and Dr. Lucy Dang were great! This was my first visit to a dentist to actually receive care in over a decade (aside from a simple check up I had for X-rays ~3 years ago) and thus I required a deep cleaning. To my knowledge I have never had a deep cleaning and had no idea what it entailed but after asking Dr. Dang about the procedure she took the time to explain it to me in a way that settled the nervousness that I had about it.
The procedure wasn$0027t even that bad and in fact I laughed a few times because of my struggles with the water vacuum and keeping my tongue out of the way, it truly had a mind of its own during the procedure. Regardless of my struggles both the assistant Maggie and Dr. Lucy Dang were very kind, understanding, accommodating and perceptive to my comfort the entire time I was there. For years I struggled with bad plaque/tartar buildup to the point that I didn$0027t think it was possible for my teeth to look as nice as they do now. I look forward to completing my treatment plan and have greatly enjoyed my experience so far.
To address those who may be worried about being over treated I definitely would recommend Bluebonnet Dental because remember that check up I told you about earlier? Yeah that dentist handed me a $6000 treatment plan which included many root canals and other things I cannot remember. After that visit I promptly thought to myself «Well, I guess my teeth will just rot then». There is also great transparency here before anything is performed. Prior to having my deep cleaning the staff took the time to work up my treatment plan and show it to me on a nicely organized paper that laid out everything to be performed and the associated costs. So rest assured they will NOT perform any bully tactics like showing the bill to you after they perform the work.
Not only are the professionals at Bluebonnet kind, understanding, accommodating and perceptive but also very trustworthy. To end my review I simply give a big thank you to all involved in my experience with Bluebonnet Dental.

Dr. George and we staff are amazing! They are very attentive and they all make sure you are as comfortable as you can be. Throughout the procedure Dr. George kept asking if I was ok and kept telling me if I was hurting to please let her know. I definitely recommend anyone to come se Dr. George!
