I had an excellent first experience with Great Oaks Dental recently. In search of a professional to remove a tooth with much bone loss and prepare it for an implant, I was referred to Dr. Pennington. Coming from Greenville, I managed to be late for my appointment but they fit me in all the same. I found Dr. Pennington to be very professional, knowledgable and helpful in finding a reasonable solution to my dental issue. I$0027ve scheduled him to perform the extraction and bone graft next month and am confident it will be a positive experience.
Follow up: Five stars for the extraction! Dr.Pennington and his assistant were kind, attentive, thorough and professional. They were patient with my squeamishness and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure.

I have been seen at this Dentist office twice. First visit ever was an emergency visit for an infection. They got me in same day EVEN THOUGH I WAS A NEW PATIENT. The office staff were kind, the dentist was helpful. I knew then this was a home for my dental needs. So sure of this I also scheduled my wife and daughter new patient exams, as well as cleanings. I have also mentioned to friends and family to consider using them as well… I unfortunately had a jaw lump which was of concern to me , I called for consultation which resulted in them squeezing me in again same day. I simply couldnt be happier with this office.

After dentist jumping as I call it year after year trying to find a dentist I felt comfortable with I ended up landing in the Great Oaks office one day. I have never felt as comfortable with a dentist as I have at Great Oaks Dentist. I have now been going to Great Oaks for 5 plus years. All of the staff are professional, kind, engaging, go over and beyond to make you feel comfortable and the receptionists are forgiving and helpful when we need to reschedule. I have been a patient of Dr Giddings, his exceptional partners and staff for four years now and I must say I have never ever had a finer team taking care of my dental needs. The office and equipment is state of the art and everyone is always bright, pleasant and conscientious. I cannot imagine a finer dental experience and result in the Upstate.

I just had my first visit with Great Oaks and am so thankful I found this practice to make my new dental health home. It has a calming, cozy atmosphere as well as friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Geri, RDH, did an excellent job both educating me and carrying out the various tasks. Dr. Pennington took the time he needed to inspect everything I had concerns about. Both focused on making sure I felt heard as a patient.
