This was the most crazy experience I have ever had at a dental office. Stepping in I thought I was in the Twilight Zone…the person at the front desk did not greet me for a good five minutes, I questioned turning around and leaving at that point in time but thought how bad could it be. I called on Friday to ask if they accepted my insurance, I was told that they do accept it. I arrive for my appointment and the secretary is calling the insurance company claiming that the insurance told her they do not accept dental and I$0027m not covered. I have my insurance through the state and it covers everything. I have never had to pay out of pocket for anything. I was asked to put a CC on file which I declined because I know how these scams work. I was told okay no problem come back we will get started with the work, I got an exam, and some X-rays. Then I was told I would have to come back another day for my cleaning because they were unsure if my insurance would cover it. After somebody already being in the chair you should know whether the insurance is acceptable or not, and not expect me to pay out of pocket after I said that is not a possibility. The room I walked into was dirty, missing vertical blinds, had a kids princess chair in it that I was expected to put my purse on.I was also forced to sign a form that says if my insurance does not cover it I am responsible for the charges which came to somehow almost over $600….SCAM. I called my insurance upon leaving and they said I am FULLY covered for anything except for cosmetic procedures. I called the office back to let them know do not try to bill me as I am fully covered through the insurance. Upon leaving the office the secretary did not wish me to have a nice day but was on her cellphone taking a personal phone call, did not even say goodbye to me. I will never return here.

My first visit was an emergency which was taken care of immediately. Your call is immediately returned. Great to know they are open on Saturdays too. Staff are really nice and friendly. Dr Taylor is gentle and super clean which in this day and time, is greatly appreciated. Dr Fernandes gives me confidence she can do anything. She is very accommodating also. I had written a couple of positive reviews I regarding this dentist, but I have to retract them. The truth is, I was happy with the dental work that was done and I was planning to return and bring my family. However, the work I had done was not completely covered by my insurance. The office staff worked out a payment plan with me and I planned my budget accordingly. But the office did not adhere to the agreed arrangement. They took the first payment several days after the agreed upon day and then took whatever amount of money was in my account at random times, leaving my bank account empty more than once. We agreed on a set amount at specific intervals and the office did not adhere to this, at all!!! I am on a very tight budget, I budget out every dollar with each paycheck and to have my account just wiped out unexpectedly was traumatic. I had weeks I wasn$0027t sure how I was going to feed my family because there was suddenly no money in may account. I wish I was exaggerating. It was surreal and very upsetting because I really liked Dr. Fernandez, my daughter liked her. I have more work that needs to be done and my daughter need braces. Now I have to find a new dentist that my kids and I feel comfortable with, all because I don$0027t trust the office/billing staff.

Stay away from this dental studio!! They will scam you and make you pay an obsurd copay out of pocket. They tell you your insurance will cover everything, but it will not and you will be left with a $280 bill just like me. They also applied me to a CareCredit card after I specifically told them not to. The woman in the front desk kept pestering me about the card, after which i still refused and told her i wont be needing it … guess what? She still applied for me and i got the card in my mail. My guess is that they want to prey on your «swipe now, pay later» instincts so they can rob as much money off of you before you realize that you have to pay off the full amount you used with the card. Terrible way to run a dental office … absolute worst billing staff you will encounter.
