My first visit to this practice. I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. Dr. Stoyka was so pleasant and thorough. Explained my results and talked with me about a plan to address some dental issues. No pressures to proceed or sales of products which I$0027ve experienced in the past at other dental offices. The hygienist was so nice and explained each step she was doing along with checking on my comfort level. The front desk reception was so sweet and also personable. I apologize for not recalling names. Made hubby a future appointment discussing his dentist anxiety, I think he will be perfectly comfortable there. Great practice!!

While visiting Bradenton from Kentucky for a couple months, i started experiencing terrible tooth pain and what seemed to be an infection. They got me into the office the following week, and was able to get me a referral the next week as my wisdom teeth growing in was the cause. This was such an easy process and everyone was so kind and helpful that I did not have to worry or stress while on my trip. I am extremely thankful!

When I made my first appointment 1 year ago they told me it would be ok to not have x-rays every time I come. All I wanted was a cleaning. What ever happened to it$0027s my body if I don$0027t want an x-ray I shouldn$0027t be forced. I had x-rays a year ago and now that I refuse an x-ray I$0027m not allowed to be seen for a cleaning. No waiver allowed to be signed. You do not control my body and what is done to it. Highly do not recommend this dentist. Her reputation of this is known to many locals in Manatee county as a doctor to stay away from. I$0027ve done my research and I think you should too because lets face it going to the dental office is not a place everyone wants to be.
I feel compelled to tell the public the truth about Dr. Stoyka. Do not waste your money or time here. The look of the office will deceive you from the corruption that takes place. I was employed by Dr. Stoyka for one whole month as her assistant and out of my 7 years in the dental field I have never been degraded with the amount of disrespect. She holds no professionalism and is truly unethical. I would not refer my worst enemy to her practice.
Long term patients know that there is a HIGH TURNOVER rate in employees and I have been told personally «there is new people everytime I come. How long are you staying?» That alone should have been a red flag. The music is turned up all the way throughout the whole office so that you can$0027t hear her talk negatively about her patients who are in the chair or she is either screaming and cursing at her assistant/staff. Multiple reputable businesses and hygienists refuse to work with her because if she doesn$0027t get what she wants when she wants she will curse them off and threaten their job/life. The reason why you see a different hygienist to clean your teeth everytime you come is because she hires them through a temp agency. Some have even walked out mid day because the lack of respect she has. If you see her without an assistant and her front desk girls assisting her is well because no one can work with such a difficult person. She will never be happy in life.
I had to quickly use the bathroom one day since she does not give a break or a lunch and she tampered on the door handle and kept knocking yelling my name to come out and what I was doing in the bathroom. She seems nice at first but if you ask the wrong questions you will see a different side or either be dismissed.
She will tell you, you need fillings or a crown when in reality you don$0027t. I would definitely get a second opinion before running your insurance. The PPE fee you pay every visit is a scam. There is no longer an outage of essentials in gloves or masks. No additional were ever purchased to protect staff during the pandemic. Masks and gloves are what were always worn pre-covid.
This was my personal experience along with so many others that have left a review similar to this the only difference was I was not a patient I experienced this first hand day after day. The reply to this review will probably be negative about me or that I never worked here but screenshots and having the FEIN number is enough proof. I was also shorted of pay for the time I actually put in the work regardless of what. I was there and put my time in. This will now be turned over to the Department of Labor.

Exceeded all expectations. All dentists should operate like this one. Dr Stoyka made me feel comfortable, explained everything to me, and did great work. Her assistant, Jennifer, also was great.
