The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. This was the most thorough exam I have ever had. They explained everything they were doing and what they found. They gave their recommendations on follow up treatments before the office manager then came to go through costs and explained very clearly what was covered by insurance and what I would be responsible for. Nothing was done until costs were clearly explained BEFORE not AFTER procedures were done. I highly recommend visiting Smile Design! I have nothing but fantastic things to say about their service is superior than any other dentist I have visited. You won$0027t regret it!

Out of state on vacation in Sarasota, broke a crown and cracked a tooth. I contacted Smile Design at Sarasota Laurel Ridge. Dr. Hanna and the entire staff were very professional, polite and efficient in a relaxed atmosphere. They went above and beyond to accommodate me including working past closing. Excellent doctor and staff. I was trying to make an appointment at a clinic closer to home but they were booked through until April. I was experiencing extreme pain from an infected tooth so the Port Charlotte clinic booked me with Dr. Hanna$0027s office. What a wonderful experience! I have had traumatic experiences in the past with other doctors that have made me fearful of getting work done on my teeth. Dr. Hanna and her staff made me feel comfortable and that they truly cared about their patients. Of the 5 or so shots I needed to have two teeth extracted, I only felt one. That is impressive in my book. Dr. Hanna removed 2 teeth, went over what could be done with the remaining teeth and gave me the pros and cons for each procedure. She took into account my financial situation and went over what would be the most cost effective treatment that would correct my problems. I was only going to go to this office because of the urgency but after my experience with Dr. Hanna$0027s group I will be making the extra drive to see her.

This is the most friendly, professional, and informative dentist I have ever been to. I was treated with respect and compassion by each employee I encountered from the moment I walked in the door. The dentist was very informative and thorough with my exam, and the dental assistant went above and beyond to make sure I got the service I needed. I had made my son an appointment for a new patient exam as he was in major pain from a cavity. We filled out the paperwork online so he wouldn$0027t have to arrive early. He arrived about 10 minutes late ( due to the Bridge being up coming off Siesta Key ) Appointment was made by her office for 8am. She and the Dental assistant were both RUDE to him~~ telling him his appointment was at 7:30. I made the appointment and wrote it down! Maybe if He hadn$0027t already filled out all the forms online . I could understand the extra half hour early.
Fast forward to Appointment Day a week later. He confirmed more than 24 hours in advance! On the day of his appointment, they called and told him they were too busy And would have to cancel his Appointment ! {NOT OFFERING TO GET HIM IN LATER IN THE DAY OR EARLY THE NEXT DAY!}
Even though I have Dental Insurance, my son does not. I was paying cash, which is more money than any insurance company would pay them. She lost 4K in Revenue from me ( a current patient) this year and all the cash I was planning to put out for my son! Very unprofessional protocol from staff and dentist! I would recommend picking another Dental group!
Follow up~If they Value a Patients well being, which is all CYA talk. They would of taken the Patients that were experiencing the MOST-PAIN! They admitted that they still took patients that day, cancelling some. Taking them at their word about the dental assistant calling in sick, NO ATTEMPT was made to get him in. My sons appointment might of been the only one cancelled?? They obviously they have MORE THAN ONE dental assistant!
Who knows if the Back story is even real? Maybe the Dentist was running late!? In my opinion, they took the Patients that would yield them the most financial revenue for the day, and POSSIBLY cancelled others. Who knows!
Still VERY unprofessional! He lost a whole days pay $150 and had to start searching for another dentist, which takes time to get in!

I was recently scheduled for a deep cleaning, and was seen by a dental hygienist,Nicole. She was mindful of my experience. Asking if im comfortable, if there$0027s any pain, showing genuine concern not only for my personal well being, but the quality of the job she was doing. Double checking her work and making sure everything was done well. She also gave me a lot of useful hygiene tips specific to my personal needs. Wow! I couldn$0027t sing her praises more.

Visited for a check up and cleaning. Chrissy at the front desk welcomed me and shortly after I was taken back to the treatment area by Angela. Angela was very thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. I had a great experience at the facility at Laurel Ridge. A very young, lovely dentist Janal Hanna and her skillful dental technician did a great job assessing the multitude of issues I have.
