I had been talking my now 12 year old daughter here since she was only a year old. This was before Dr Sophie was even around. I used to have wonderful service and truly felt my daughter was in great hands, even after Dr Sophie took over. My daughter has weak enamel and visits every 3 months for fluoride treatments as well as cleanings every 6 months. She$0027s had multiple extractions and the has never been an issue. Upon our last visit, something was very different. Dr Sophie was cold to both myself and my daughter. Her bedside manner was terrible. Despite my daughter never having a single cavity in her 12 years of life, she said there were 2 small ones and, after taking x-rays, found her last adult tooth was coming in at an angle and the baby tooth needed to be extracted. I agreed to this treatment, set the date and was told they would call me the week before with a time, which I thought was odd. They call me and I$0027m suddenly informed that my 12 year old will have to FAST FOR 12 HOURS. NOTHING TO EAT, NOTHING TO DRINK. AT ALL. NOT EVEN TO TAKE HER FAULT MEDICATIONS. How do you ask a child to do that? After consulting with my daughter$0027s pediatrician and being advised to not have her fast that long, I opted to not have the treatment at that time. I informed the receptionist that we would not be going through with the treatment and why. Shortly after, I received a letter for Dr Sophie dismissing my daughter from her care, calling me a negligent parent and telling me my blatant disregard for my daughter$0027s health was unacceptable. I hadn$0027t missed a single appointment in 11 years. Needless to say, I$0027m happy to be looking for a new dentist.

We LOVE Pima Pediatric Dentistry! Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly! The staff are all amazing at making our kiddos feel comfortable during their appointments and they make a point to show them exactly what tools their using to make them less anxious. Weve seen such improvement at every visit! Dr. Sophie is great at making brushing and flossing fun and always has little goodie bags and certificates at the end of the appointment.

The staff is friendly, professional, engaging and quick. The whole establishment seems to be very organized which I appreciate as a customer. I felt uneasy after our previous dentist$0027s diagnosis and ended up coming to Dr. Sophie for an emergency visit. My daughter had to have extensive work done and they were able to get us in very fast and make my daughter feel so much better. My 2 toddlers just randomly started talking about going to get their teeth cleaned and said they love Dr Sophie and want to give her a hug. That right there inspired me to leave a review. So not just a review from me but from her patients themselves. We have been seeing Dr. Sophie since my oldest was about 3 she is now 14. My little ones have seen her since they were born. Very friendly staff! My son (3 years old) was so scared to go to the dentist for the first time and they made him feel very comfortable. My husband took my son in for his dentist visit and I was informed he was charged a «co-pay.» Based on the dental plan he has, there should not have been a charge. So, I did some investigating and come to find out, they are being sneaky and charging all patients a fee to cover their PPE. They lied, they were dishonest and were not upfront.
I truly like the dentist.. Dr. Baird is fantastic, BUT I do not agree with these non-advertised/hidden fees. In addition, I asked what would happen if the patient was not able to afford the fee, and I was told that they would cancel the appointment and reschedule for a later date, months later. I absolutely love this office! We had our annual visit to see Dr. Sophie. From the moment we walked in we were promptly and very warmly greeted. We were taken back and the assistant, Sierra, was so kind and gentle with my daughter who is very shy. Dr. Sophie did a very thorough exam on my daughter and graciously answered all of my questions. My 2 year old had to get some work done on her teeth and Dr Sophie was so sweet and informative. She has an amazing bedside manner and made it her priority to make us feel comfortable and at ease after a bad dental experience my daughter had at a different dentist office. The office is kid friendly, the staff is polite and courteous and Dr. Sophie is caring and good with children. I had been taking my daughter (now 4yrs old) here since she was 6 months old, she never had any tooth problems until this year. I was told she had 5 cavities, which was very disheartening as her mom since I brush her teeth daily, but the part I had a problem with after agreeing to get the cavities filled was that I would not be allowed in the treatment room with her while they filled them. This is their policy. It just didn$0027t feel right to my husband and I especially with our daughter only being 4 and never having had dental work. This place is amazing! We get out of the car for my five year old son$0027s six month check up and he says «Hey! I remember his place! Everyone beware do not go to her she is a lier . we plan to file the lawsuit against her and her assistant . we have to make sure she wont touch and ruins any other kids teeth ever again .
