I discovered Covington Family Dentistry when an old crown came off right before the weekend and I needed urgent attention. I was so thankful that they fixed my tooth so quickly that I started using them as my regular dentist. Dr. Reed has since provided me with a crown, a filling, and a cap. She always makes sure that everything is perfect. The cap she put on today feels just like my original tooth. My wife now goes to Covington Family Denistry too and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding care.

I love this dental office in Covington. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Had a filling replaced here recently. Im 68, and for only the second time in my life that I can remember the dentist actually made sure my filling wasnt too high. She also worked at making sure the new filling didnt interfere with flossing. Something like leaving a shoe store with shoes that actually fit, instead of feeling regret every time you put on your new pair of shoes. Life as it should be, not as it all too often is.

I was going to Covington Family Dentistry for the past 10 years. The staff is amazing from the welcoming receptionists to Dr. Burgett who I normally see for routine check ups. I moved which is why Im no longer going here but if youre looking for a new dentist I highly recommend them! During the pandemic they have you call at curbside, check your temperature before entering the office, and have you fill out a health form. They are taking all safety measures and cleaning practices safely. Its also nice to have the flexibility of going in after normal work hours or on Saturdays. Yesterday, I became a new patient at Covington Family Dentistry. I hadn$0027t been to the dentist in quite a few months, due to the current pandemic. Being a little nervous to break my quarantine bubble, I was put at ease by the precautions this practice is taking. I checked in from the parking lot and was met at the door for a temperature check. Everyone was masked.
Dr Burgett was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. Although I$0027ve had a lot of dental work done over the years, I recently developed anxiety related to visiting the dentist$0027s office. She and her assistant, Amanda, put me at ease. They were very thorough with my exam and taking my x-rays. Dr Burgett discussed treatment options with me regarding one of my teeth.
Jordan did my cleaning, and after so many months of not being seen, she probably had to work overtime on my cleaning. She was gentle and thorough. She gave me rests when I needed them (chronic illness makes keeping my mouth open for long periods of time difficult).
Being a germaphobe, I was very happy to see that when I checked out, the front office person who took my payment (sorry, I don$0027t remember her name), donned gloves to take my credit card to process payment.
Very happy with my experience. I was happy to refer my husband to this practice for his exam and cleaning next week!

I needed to get an appointment and quick because I was heading out of town in a couple of day and had a terrible toothache.The office was able to squeeze me in and found out that I needed to have a root canal and if I didn$0027t get it done it would continue to get worse. Since I didn$0027t want to deal with that issue while on vacation they were able to complete the procedure that evening. The Dentist and her assistant were AWESOME! I was having a hard time with my anxiety and they both were so calming and helpful with getting me throught that.
