I want to thank everyone (staff ) at Thunderbirds Children$0027s Dentistry. The front office ladies are great very efficient especially with the reminder text, messages and communication. Dr. Duckworth is very experienced and excellent with children.

I take my 5 year old twins here since they were about 3. I absolutely love their dentist. She is so kind and patient with them. They both had small procedures on 2 separate occasions. One was on the laughing gas and the other was asleep during the procedure. They were both taken care of and as a parent, I felt very comfortable and reassured everything was going to be ok. The staff is kind as well and helpful. To me, its all about the dentist and I feel so lucky my kids got a great one!

Very friendly staff!! The assistant noticed I only spoke Spanish to my daughter and continued to talk to her in Spanish. (I loved that about the assistant!) The doctor sits down and explains everything to you and lets you know what you might need to work on. I research the places I take my daughter for her appointments and I$0027m glad I choose them. I usually never write reviews but I just had to for This dental office! They were so welcoming and made my daughter feel extremely comfortable. She was so nervous going in but as soon as she seen the awesome kid friendly decorations of this office and the gentle , warm, amazing staff her fears disappeared. As far as cleanliness, They took every precaution and disinfected every item they touched. The cleanliness is impeccable! We walked out with NO tears and a great big sparking smile! My son had a very traumatic experience at his past dentist. They front desk ladies saw how anxious and scared he was so they allowed me to go back with him. The nurse was so incredibly patient and comforted him as he was crying and nervous. She explained each step of the process which he needed. Dr. Stephanie was so gentle and so sweet with him. Every person, every interaction, every person…every time is excellent! We drive almost an hour there and each time, you feel like you arrive to see family or friends. My daughters were previous patients of Dr. Soloman. Dr. Soloman and his daughter were great.
However, when the practice was taken over by Thunderbird Pediatric Dentistry we were not notified of the transition at all. Dental work performed by the new dentists resulted in having to get the fillings redone by another dentist. Which resulted in having to pay out of pocket for the additional filling on the same tooth. There were also billing issues with Thunderbird Pediatric that have never been resolved. Multiple attempts to contact the office manager and billing department by phone was a joke. I$0027ve left voicemails, texts, emails and to no avail still have never spoken to anyone directly or had the issue resolved. They only respond occasionally by text. Still, the billing issue has never been resolved. (My insurance says the doctor is out of network but the office insists she is in our network. I have requested the bill be resubmitted multiple times. Per there texts they say it has been resubmitted but I keep getting the same bill due.) I$0027m going to pay the outstanding bill to be done with this practice. This has been ongoing since June 2020. It is now February 2021.
I don$0027t usually leave bad reviews. Maybe this will get their attention.
Good luck with resolving any billing issues and getting anyone to actually pick up the phone and call you back to resolve an issue. Hopefully, your child$0027s fillings don$0027t need to be constantly redone either.

Yesterday we had our fist appointment at Thunderbird and I just have to say EVERYBODY was so kind and helpful. My daughter and I were greeted as soon as we walked in and the receptionists were also kind enough to help me out with some insurance issues.
Once we were actually taken in, the dentist tried her best to answer all of my questions, there was another dentist who even butted in to help answer my question.
My daughter has very sensitive teeth so she was scared to even get a tooth cleaning but the hygienist was very sweet and gentle with her. She reassured her that she was ok and let her know the process was almost finished.
At the end they brought in another Dr. to explain to me why my daughter would need braces and she was also extremely sweet and helpful. She made sure to answer all of my questions.
We just moved here from LA and seeing as we had a really good dentist there, I was scared we wouldnt be able to find one here that was good with kids. (Just because theyre difficult to find) Well, I was wrong. Kids are usually terrified of dentists but not here. All kids were calm and well taken care of.

This was my first time here at this dental office. Personally I like that the office was clean as well as the restroom their staff was very friendly and that was able to sit down with my 3-year-old to get his first dental visit. Staff was very rude, snobby and unprofessional. They wanted me to stay in the lobby and send my child back alone. The finally allowed me to go back when I took a stand but had an attitude towards me for not being comfortable with that. When we went back, there were several girls standing around in one of the exam rooms laughing and playing on their phones. Then the dentist was rude. He gave me 2 treatment options, but when I told him the option I chose, he refused to do that treatment and told me I can go with his recommendation or go elsewhere. This was our first time at this dentist, but I will never go back and will let everyone I know that this place is not recommended!

It was my two year old$0027s first trip to the dentist and it was a success!! She normally fears the doctor but she was all smiles at the dentist (pun intended). We had called a couple of different pediatric dentists before finding Thunderbird Children$0027s Dentistry. The other places didn$0027t even have the courtesy to return my phone calls. Thunderbird called me back within minutes, the environment was extremely welcoming and the staff was great. Happy to find our new home for dental care!
