Went for a regular cleaning fall 2020 I believe. Only reason I went was because my insurance changed and my prior dentist was no longer an option for me.
Dr. Peoples wasnt rude or anything, he just didnt have a good presence. He made me pretty uncomfortable just being in the room. He also told me I needed my wisdom teeth removed because of how sever the cavities on them were. I found that shocking considering I had seen my previous dentist less than a year before and she mentioned nothing of that.
Along with that, the hygienist was brutal with the water spraying. I felt like I was drowning the whole time.
Going back to the wisdom teeth, I held off because I would have to pay like $600 out of pocket with my insurance. 2021 came around and I got a new job with new insurance, which thankfully had my prior dentist. I visited them yesterday and express my wisdom teeth concerns, as suggested by Peoples. I was told my wisdom teeth are perfectly healthy and wouldnt recommend removal. I was told I had a small amount of decay on one of them, but very superficial. Nothing a filling couldnt fix.
I was just told today that a friend had visited another Lovett Dental and experienced similar news. Was told they needed a procedure done that would cost them extra money out of pocket. They didnt do it because of the money but were concerned. I told them it was probably a scam just like mine was.
If you read other reviews, youll see they have a pattern of suggesting extra, unnecessary treatments. My suggestion: go somewhere else or get a second opinion.
Best dentist I ever had was literally across the street at BLVD Dentistry.

I DO NOT recommend this dental clinic. I was a regular patient for several years and switched immediately after having a crown installed in 2019. The crown implant was very poorly done and now the margins (the amount by which the crown overlaps the tooth) have exceeded the recommended amount. This means I have a large gap between the crown and tooth where food particles and bacteria pile up with no way of removing them (not by floss, not by brushing, and not even by dental cleaning). This inflames the gums and leads to a host of other problems. And now I have to get the crown REPLACED! I wasted $2,100 on this dental clinic the first time. Today I had an filling appointment with Dr. Peoples and his assistant, Karen. I was TERRIFIED heading into the appointment, because the idea of anyone drilling into my teeth seemed horrifying. However, I was blown away by this dentist office. I was met with calm, kind, and considerate energy every step of the way, and the team went above and beyond to make my experience pain-free and fear-free.
It seems like we lack a strong connection with doctors in todays world. Theyre busy, and they have quotas to meet. That may be true for Dr. Peoples, but if it is, he didnt let it show. I have never met a doctor with such beautiful energy, and a general presence of patience. He was fully present in the moment with me, and if I could give 100 stars, I would.
Best of all, you can tell he leads by example and has a whole team of fabulous employees. Ive never in my life enjoyed going to a dentist office…until now. I look forward to being in an office space with this kind of positivity and care.
If you, like me, are terrified and dread going to the dentist, this is the place for you. I promise you wont be disappointed!

I almost was a patient here but decided against it after the very unprofessional way my appointment was handled.
On May 6th, I scheduled a routine cleaning for Friday May 28th (three weeks in advance). In the weeks afterward I received at least two confirmation emails and a confirmation text for my appointment. I confirmed and was ready to go. THEN literally ONE DAY before my appointment I got a poorly worded text full of typos telling me they had no spots for me on Friday and to pls reschedule.
How can you all of a sudden have no spots one day before an appointment that I made three weeks in advance? When I called the front desk the person who answered gave me no explanation. I rescheduled but later was so annoyed I called back to cancel, especially after seeing all the reviews of how they just try to charge you for unnecessary procedures.
If an emergency comes up and the dentist needs to leave then thats fine, but it seems like the dentist decided to skip out early for Memorial Day weekend and leave a potential new patient in the dust. And if youre going to notify patients by text you should at least be able to spell correctly. I would rather go to a practice that actually has a handle of their schedule and values their patients time.
Two stars because at least the people I spoke to on the phone were somewhat nice. But I will not be going here.

Yea these people definitely gave off the energy that they dont care for their patients – including new ones like myself. I called a while back to schedule a cleaning only – that is fully covered by my insurance. They waited until after the testing and had me sitting down ready to get my cleaning so they could tell me they dont just do cleaning by itself – they have to charge you for fluoride and some other stuff for your gums; an annoying selling tactic if you ask me. My previous dentist would only do cleanings for me so I told them never mind I rather drive 30 minutes to my previous dentist, itll definitely be worth the drive. The front desk staff act like theyre already annoyed of you. Id recommend staying away from this dentistry and looking for one that actually appreciates you.

I loved this place, and its been hard for me to find a good dentist place. Everyone was so nice and very professional. The dentist was very respectful with good bedside manners. I didnt feel like the wait was bad, but they gave me a nice discount for the wait anyways. Very pleased with my experience and I will return.

My dentist visit went exceptional! The staff was very nice and welcoming. I liked that I didnt have to wait too long to go in. My doctor, Dr. Peoples, did an awesome job. He was very patient with me, he allowed me to stay calm since dentist visits have not been so great. I can honestly say that he is actually one of the greatest dentist Ive had. Overall, I really liked not only the location but the doctor. I would highly recommend this location and dentist.

Breana the hygienist is very skilled and made me feel safe! Dr. Peoples is very gentle and kind. Also Maria was great with the x-rays. Raul was very helpful in assisting. I would recommend this place to everyone. They even give you patient eyewear to protect your eyes. Its the little things that go a long way.
