Terribly unprofessional. I booked an appt 2 weeks before for a routine cleaning and I called the day before to confirm. They said they had no record of me. I call back 30 minutes later and ask them to check again. SURPRISE, they do have a record of my appt at 10:30. I ask if I can push it back to 11, they say that is not possible. I show up at 10:30 where there are 2 other people with cleanings scheduled at the same time and only 1 dentist. It is now 12 pm exactly and I$0027m sitting in a chair and the dentist has not even checked in with me to tell me how much long before someone touches my teeth. HUGE MISTAKE. I Wish I Could Give Zero Stars. Horrible. I arrived at 10:24, for a 10:30 appointment. Finally at around Noon (1.5 hours later) I was brought in to have my X-Rays taken. About 20 minutes later, I was brought in for meeting with the dentist, Dr Roy. I$0027m not too sure of how to spell her name. Anyhoo, I mentioned that the dental chair was really uncomfortable, and she stated it was like every other dental chair (other dental practices had much better chairs). Then, after she learned that I have Asthma, Dr. Roy continued to give me a lecture about Asthma and Anxiety. I was not having an anxiety attack. I was positioned in front of a doctor who would not let me speak, and would not let me discuss my dental health. She would not let me speak, so I interrupted her. Then she told me I should not have brought my attitude in from the (1.5 hour wait) waiting room, and refused to give me service.
On another note, I did not see them open a clean package of dental equipment (so I just have to assume they take every precaution). I pay $488 a month for health and dental insurance, and I will work very hard to find a different practice. This dental practice is like the dirty McDonalds around the corner, that should probably pump the breaks on scheduling new patients.
The front desk lady was lovely, and the X-Ray technician was lovely. The wait was way too long. Dr. Roy was horrible, her assumption that I was going to have an asthma attack was absurd. The main issue (in my opinion) is she would not stop lecturing me about asthma medicine. If she would have quit lecturing me, she would have given me the opportunity to communicate. I use my albuterol when I run 3 miles. NOT WHEN I SIT IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE DENTAL CHAIR.
Go elsewhere!!!!! Don$0027t say someone didn$0027t warn you!!!! I understand the Dominion National Kaiser Permanente List so many dentist who that Dominion Covers that work at this practice. Cleaning was great, the doctor used the water floss thing and then regular cleaning. They did a complimentary fluoride as well. They even do lip injections, google it. I went to another clinic which they dont know me as their client. I found them to be very professional helpful with a very clean facility. They didnt even made me pay for visitation and x ray they said theyll charge me for the procedure they are going to make while this doctor even refused to come and talk to me to the front desk. All they are worried is about their money, thay dont have value to the patient. How heartless is that!!! An ethical!!! He didnt do my filling correctly and I was having hard time ever since, I couldnt come back cause I travelled but when I come back he refused.
I dont recommend this clinic at all. We have many choices. This is America where we get many options with great hospitality, professional and nice people. Who ever is reading I want to let you know that there are other clinics way cleaner, with humble and concerned staffs. If I read the review I wouldnt
