Dr. Bloom and his staff are fantastic! So many of my friends talk about how their child$0027s first trip to the dentist was a nightmare, so I was really worried about taking my already very nervous/anxious 22 month old to the dentist. She is scared of just about everything, so I was expecting the worst. When we went to Dr. Bloom$0027s office for her first appointment she was not scared AT ALL! The lovely hygienist took her time with my daughter, showing her all of the tools she planned on using, letting my daughter hold them. They even have this puppet with huge teeth inside that they had my daughter play with (floss and brush its teeth). My daughter thought that was SO fun. She is almost 2 and a half now and she STILL talks about that puppet. So when it came time for her to lay back and get her teeth cleaned, she had NO problem. In fact, she talks about how much she loves the dentist and asks to go back. Luckily we have an appointment very soon.
I have known Dr. Bloom for over a decade. Not only is he a kind and gentle person, he is a pillar in his community. When I had my daughter I knew I wouldn$0027t take her anywhere else. Taking a child to the dentist for the first time can be a nerve wracking experience for any parent. You have no need to be worried coming here.
