This office needs to be more transparent with their billing practices. When my mother initially went to them for services they were kind and accommodating. However that all changed when she began to question the bill she received. They have provided her with several copies of a «single patient ledger» which has a payment from Lending Club posted for $6750 which she did not authorize and does not show the personal check for $8600 that she gave them. The front desk girl (Dani) was very condescending to my mother then to me when I began to speak on her behalf. She insists that she their system is not clear to her but the office manager (Michelle) was not there to speak with us. When I asked for Michelle$0027s last name she said she could not give it to me because it was «private» and would not give me her business card. She did, however, say she would leave a message but they have yet to call her back! When I threatened to call an attorney or get action news to act on her behalf, Dani responded «go ahead.»

If I could give this place -10 stars, I would. Me and my boyfriend should have known not to come here based off the first phone call we had with these people. Their communication is completely non-existent. The girls at the counter will tell you one thing on the phone and it will be something completely different when you get to the office and the lead.. or whoever she was.. will tell you that her girls never said what the obviously told us on the phone. They don$0027t call ahead of time when they have issues with insurance, they just wait until your next appointment to say something even though they knew prior to the next appointment… There is more but my hands are tired now, but long story short I DO NOT RECOMMEND! And I am extremely glad we found a new office that ACTUALLY COMMUNICATES!!

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced with a doctors office. I had to pay out of pocket and wait for my claim to be submitted (which is perfectly fine) only later to find out they had not updated there paperwork with my insurance, I had to research and discover this on my own and when I talked them they were completely unaware (this was over a month later mind you) so I asked for a verification call when this was updated and my claim is resubmitted, I called back the next afternoon to get a status update and was told they had to take care of priority customers first and after she noticed the upset manor of my voice she stated and your the one who rescheduled last minute and yes I did have to reschedule for family reasons. Im very upset at this point, and requested my x-rays so I can take my business elsewhere, she said yes that they would be emailed (2 weeks later) still no email so I called and nobody new I requested x-rays and told me in office pick up was not possible and I would have to send an email for them to.

Very disappointed. Left in tears. 32 minutes in the waiting room before leaving without being seen. While in the waiting room, the receptionist called two different patients to the counter and discussed delinquent payments and described what procedures they had done (in front of the whole waiting room). Also, asked someone how many teeth they had and if they were there for dentures in the middle of a quiet waiting room. Completely inappropriate considering most people are there to fix issues they are self conscious about. How humiliating for the patients?! I have never witnessed such unprofessionalism and potential violation of HIPAA. People who are there are spending significant amounts of money and should be treated as such. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

I would 110% recommend Dr. Hussein Salifu to anyone who dislikes going to the dentist. He walked me through step by step what had to be done before hand and while he was doing it. He talked to me the entire time to try and keep me calm while he was doing the procedure. He was absolutely phenomenal

When the cleaning was done (btw she put way too much anesthesia on my left side) she sat down i started talking like I owe 700 more. I said oh no. No they did hussle me. I nor most people don$0027t like feeling taking advantage of and not getting all their options explained to them in their Healthcare options. I left there angry but underneath my anger I was frustrated, defeated, hurt, taking advantage of, disappointed that I got a damn cleaning instead of the fillings I wanted, and I felt stupid, and was mad at myself. You don$0027t want to leave your healthcare providers office like this. If you chose to go there be very careful of what is going on financially, and don$0027t see Trish.

I would like to share with anybody considering getting implants at Ocala Dental Care! I had oral surgery performed by Hussein Salifu and his assistant with no complications! And I will say the entire staff have treated me with such profound respect. Thank you again and I will look forward to the next visit on Friday July 17th!
