I went most of my childhood without a dentist, so when I started with First Choice I didn$0027t know how my mouth was going to look AT ALL, and I was very self conscious. Right from the start, my hygienist and dentist have always been respectful, patient, friendly and knowledgeable, and they have taken the time to put my mind at ease about how to make the most of preventative care practices! They explained the biology of what was going on in my mouth and why they make the recommendations that they do. When I made appointments for our family I was assured the hygienists would be wearing face shields. With the first child, they did. However, with the second child, they did not. I was told it was up to each hygienist what they wanted to do regarding their face shield. My most recent experience was when I had a more urgent dental need and the staff was willing and able to accommodate me to get seen more urgently and work around my work schedule.
