We started seeing him about 8 years ago when we were looking for a dentist for my 5 year old daughter and has become our family dentist. When i say i fear dentists, i fear them. When i had an infection in both wisdom teeth the pain was horrible and my friend referred me here. He was amazing, patient and honestly the best ever. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Dentists, until I came here. The Dr. pretty much does everything himself so you are not dealing with multiple different people digging around in your mouth. I have been coming to Wood Dale Dental for around 6 years and Dr. Lerias is great! He explains everything that he is doing, so no need to be afraid of the dentist with him. Also, he does the cleaning, rather than a tech, which surprised me the first time was there. It makes me feel like he really cares about my teeth.

He put in at least 10 crowns and several fillings. 13 years later I still see Dr. Lerias at his Wood dale office, and the crowns he put in 13 years ago are intact. Ive been thru more horrible dentists in my life than I can count on my hands. I stopped counting when I found Dr. Lerias. He has been my dentist for the past 6 or so years now and I would never look anywhere else. Everyone hates the dentist but he makes it as comfortable as possible. I started Invisalign with him about a year ago and I couldn$0027t be happier with the results. I think he might be more excited about the results than I am. The staff is friendly, professional and well versed. I trust Dr Lerias and his advice when it comes to my children$0027s and I dental health. Then at the end of 2017 I got 3 fillings done, I was having issues with one hurting weeks later and I had some questions about why the bill was so much more than what I was quoted. (Which I know how insurance companies are they always say they are going to pay more than they do), but Wood Dale Dental was quoting me for SILVER fillings when they only do WHITE fillings on adults. The receptionist Elizabeth jumped down my throat because I asked for the original sheet she quoted me and she refused to give it to me. She said it was never put into the system, but they printed that sheet 2 times prior. She then threated to call the police on me!!!!! So I went in for my appointment and wasted my night because the dentist didnt even work on my tooth.
The dentist ended up paying for my fillings because of the misunderstanding (which was very nice of him) but all of a sudden the tooth that was bothering me then needed a root canal.
So I made an appointment with them for March 28th. Because my insurance was changing April 1st. THEY KNEW THAT TOO.
Well March 27th I got a voicemail at 3:22pm and they cancelled it on me. I then called and called and called them NO ANSWER. So I found myself another dentist that would do it before April 1st.
I then got a voicemail April 3rd at 5:21pm asking why I didnt show up to my appointment!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 12th I get a post card in the mail saying I have an appointment in MAY after calling and saying this dentist just isnt working out. So today April 13th I have called 3 different numbers, about 20 times so far .their voicemail box is full, and emailed them.
Please save your time and money and find a different dentist.

Dr. Lerias put me at ease from the moment I met him. He$0027s thorough, he$0027s a good listener, and he$0027s very conscientious about his work. He has a really pleasant demeanor, and he takes the time to explain things before and after an appointment. I always have confidence that his treatment plans are well-thought-out and will be executed with care. It$0027s also really comforting that they have really nice, modern equipment here.
One of my biggest fears was feeling pain during procedures, and Dr. Lerias employs a lot of techniques that really ease the process. He always makes sure that I$0027m really numb, and he$0027s very gentle in general. For those of you out there terrified of going to the dentist, I would highly recommend Richie Lerias.
The dental assistants and receptionists here are great. The receptionists are polite and I feel comfortable asking them to explain costs and work out payment plans. They always print me a receipt, and the waiting room is always really clean.
I love that they have flatscreens playing morning talk shows and home décor programs here. I never would have thought something like that could make such a difference, but I honestly find it so relaxing. It$0027s a really good distraction.
Wood Dale Dental has been a very positive experience for me, and I feel fortunate to have found it. 5 stars.
