I made an appointment to get a tooth pulled in October and it took 9 phone calls and each one of them were more then 2 hours on hold for 1 appointment. I finally got my appointment and when I got there they decided to say the oral surgeon isn$0027t there today and there just going to do X-rays then they booked another appointment for a month later and when I got there they said that I need a cavity filled and the oral surgeon again isn$0027t there. Booked another appointment 2 weeks later and they told me I had to pay 300 dollars up front because they said I didn$0027t have insurance and so I called my insurance and they told them that it was fully covered and western dentals system is down then the new girl upfront told my insurance guy no its not down than i left and 7 hours later they call and say there system was down and they are sorry so I booked another appointment for the next week and they said again they weren$0027t there and then they began saying how they won$0027t have an appointment until January so I did that and in January I went to the appointment and with no surprise they said it again and of course who wouldn$0027t be frustrated with this extreme amount of pain in your gum for 3 and a half months just for them to say no to getting a tooth pulled so after lots of arguing they booked me an appointment 2 days later and finally after 5 hours of waiting in a chair in the lobby they bringed me in the back a pulled that damn tooth out. The lady up front was very unprofessional sitting on the counter, being lazy and instead of saying next to the counter she decided to wave her fingers to come like a dog.

If I could give them a 0, I would. One of the worst managed dental offices. I had an appointment. I was in pain and waited 3 hours in the chair. The dentist came in once and told me she would be back soon. After waiting 3 hours I left. I will never return again to this Western Dental. What is the use in making an appointment if you are going to have to wait 3 hours? I asked why it took so long? No reason was provided. I have not had any good experiences in Shasta County with dentists who accept Partnership. I have primary dental insurance ,but it is very limited on what it will pay. I have already paid over $1,000.00 out of pocket since December to see a preferred dentist who take my primary insurance. It is crazy that it costs this much to get good dental care. We pay over $135.00 per month and the coverage is very limited and still have to pay quite a bit out of pocket.

Worst dentist ever. Called because I had a filling pop out and I needed it filled. After 3 separate calls ending in frustration I finally got through to someone who said they would be able to fit me in the next morning at 10. I was thankful and I went there a half an hour early for new patient paperwork. When I got there I was told that there$0027s no way I got an appointment and that I would have to come back 4 months later because there$0027s a new patient wait list. I$0027m pretty irritated at this point because I had already wasted my gas to get there but.i say okay and get put on the wait list. Today I get a call from their office saying I missed my appt and they wanted to know the reason. I explain the situation and the lady goes «oh. That$0027s weird..» and then I ask for a number for client complaints and I got given a number that$0027s disconnected. This place is a scam. DO NOT GO HERE.

Western Dental employees are salesman. They kept me in the chair for 2 hours trying to sell me things and NEVER cleaned my teeth (only reason for apt). After a while I felt I was being held against my will until I agreed to purchase something. I was confident in my answers each time, no, I do not want anything other than a cleaning, I do not have it in my budget, I brought cash today; I repeated this to over 4 different people. The number of things they were trying to get me to buy were outrageous. I have excellent teeth it$0027s my genetics or something so I didnt need any of this. The xray showed nothing was wrong, I floss often, I didn$0027t remotely need any of this. Finally, the doctor started telling this final salesman (who wasn$0027t even in scrubs) to enter into my chart on the computer these things that I clearly said no to. I told them I$0027m leaving and did they need me to pay for their lack of services today? They were baffled I guess and said no. I told them they needed to forward my xrays they just took to my email and gave them that. I was grateful they forwarded my xrays and a quote for over $1000 on the BS they were trying to sell me. I feel bad for the people/employees who put themselves through school to end up working at a place like this. I feel bad for the people who fall for this sales pitch. Absolutley immoral to upsell at a doctors/dentist office.
