My husband has had TMJ for about 18yrs. His jaw would get locked 1-2 or more times a week and his grinding was so severe that it would keep me up at night. Dr. Palmer recommend treatments but we werent sure about it, until he couldnt eat because his jaw hurt so bad. He has had two treatments now and OMG you will not believe the changes. His jaw hasnt locked, he stoped grinding, and his neck/shoulders have even stopped being so tense. Who new that TMJ affects so much more then just the jaw. Thank you Dr. Palmer from a well rested wife!

If I could give less than one star, I would. Its been several years since Ive visited Dr. Palmers office, but I still have nightmares of my experiences here. Dr. Palmer is pompous and unethical. As a young woman, I felt that he talked down to me, when trying to convince me of his treatments. I had a bad taste in my mouth, but I initially stuck around because I believed his many years in his field must have been a testament to his skills. I also felt uncomfortable on multiple occasions when he would massage my shoulders. I sunk a lot of money into treatments here, with no positive results. After getting no where and deciding it best to quit all treatments, I continued to receive calls from Dr. Palmers office, despite asking multiple times to be taken off the call list. He may have years of experience in his field, but he doesnt seem to have grasped how to treat his customers with respect.

I was very impressed with this office. Not only does Dr. Palmer do an amazing job; his staff is wonderful too. They all made me feel like I was a guest and made the whole time I was there a comfortable experience. His assistant, Jennie was so kind and made me forget my fear of getting dental work done. Don$0027t be afraid…come here for your dental care! You can tell Dr. Palmer and his staff love what they do and they do it expertly well. Dr. Palmer and his staff are amazing. After visiting a dentist in Florida with an infected tooth, I decided tohead to Franklin to see my daughter. She arranged an appointment with Dr. Palmer. Dr. Palmer fit me into his busy schedule and was able to see me almost immediately. Unquestionably, he is the best dentist I have ever seen. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. I was amazed at how well he could analyze and treat the complexities of my infected area. He performed a difficult root canal and was able to treat the infection. On December 19, 2017 I had a dentist appointment. The appointment went fine. However, upon departure I slipped on the ice that was on the top stair of the porch. Unfortunately, i landed on the granite steps and cracked a couple of ribs. This was bad and I was writhing on the ground when after a few minutes one of the dental assistants came out to see if i was okay. Sadly, she too slipped on the ice and landed on top of me. I was glad to see that she was okay. While I am still on the ground moaning I notice another assistant now pouring rock salt on the ice.
For those of you who have not had cracked ribs, you are fortunate. It made for a debilitating holiday season when you have a hard time getting out of a chair and cannot sleep. Initially, the dentist office reached out daily to see how I was and said they would be sending me something. I am glad I did not hold my breath.
Periodically, they would reach out to me to schedule my next appointment. I would ask them to have Dr. Palmer call me. This occurred at lest 6 times. Once I called Dr. Palmer$0027s cell and he returned my call. I was on another call and when it went to voice mail he immediately hung up with no message.
Dr. Palmer may be a good dentist, but would you treat your customers this way? What if you had an emergency? Very sad…..

I have not lived in the Nashville area for almost three years. The office of Lee Palmer absolutely will not stop calling me despite my many clear and unambigious (and lately, profanity-laden) instructions to stop it. It is because of this unending harrassment that I am now taking time out of my day to leave negative reviews everywhere I possibly can find to do so.
Years ago I *was* a patient and only had one appointment before I decided to get away from him as quickly as possible. He and his staff tried to strongarm me into more visits for unneeded dental appliances and services. He informed me that my teeth showed signs of grinding, and that I would need a mouth guard. No dentist before or after him agreed. He also informed that I «needed» teeth whitening.
I didn$0027t ask for these services, I turned them down when he offered them, and yet his staff went ahead and scheduled appointments (two appointments on two different dates, shameless!) for me anyway, handing me reminder cards as I was leaving! Unbelievable! It is my opinion that Palmer takes advantage of living in the wealthiest county in Tennessee by pumping people (and their insurance companies) for as many services as possible, whether they are needed or not.
